Title: Can my Silk Road bitcoin address be considered my wallet address?
Post by: acman3960 on July 25, 2013, 04:16 am
Hi Guys,
With a lot of the newer bitcoin sellers asking you to deposit your coins in your "wallet address".....
Is my personal SR bitcoin deposit address considered a wallet?  I guess what I'm asking is can I have my coins deposited directly into SR as opposed to a wallet?
My apologies if this question sounds dumb. I've been buying here for a long time but all the normal bitcoin places I've been using are no longer active and most of the new ones are asking to deposit in to a wallet.
I'd really appreciate if someone could let me know this.
     Thanks very much.

Yes, if you are trying to deposit your coins into your SR account, you would use your SR bitcoin deposit address.

Thanks.....  It's just i see a lot of options to deposit your coins into a wallet first. I assume for that's an option for people that don't want to put their coins directly into their SR account.
                                                                 Thanks again.
