I was talking to someone not to long ago about becoming a vendor, and they told me there has been a few people on here who have bought second hand accounts for cheap...
Anyone looking to sell their account?

Why would someone sell their account on the cheap,
Can it be that hard to make enough sales to get the bond back, If anything I would have thought a used account would be worth more if it came with rep

I'm really not to sure lol, i would say it could be a lot of things though, maybe they just don't want to sell anymore, or they possibly have bad rep.
I was told by someone that knows a few people that have bought cheap accounts in the past, so it must happen.

This is very appalling... Vendor accounts for sale? Good Lord
I see far too many issues that compromise the community with allowing this.
Such as LE buying a vendor account and using it as a honey pot, a scammer buying a well known named vendor account and flipping it upside into one huge scam... the list can go on.
This shouldnt be allowed. A vendor has to create their own account and work on his/her/its reputation... not just bought.
It reflects the "vendors" integrity and honor.
Buying an already used vendor account.... wow

Feels like a new low for SR and vendor trust if I'm not about to think a scammer can just buy an account with good ratings.

I'm already negotiating a price with someone...
I think the vendors post on the forums when they sell their accounts to let people know.

be careful... someone already messaged me trying to sell... they had 3 orders open and those orders they said were done OFF SR... so be VERY careful!

Yay for freedom but since there are rules, I really feel that selling vendor accounts should be against the rules. I can only see it leading to trouble.
