Title: Offering a stolen BMW is crazy right ?
Post by: DankSources on July 21, 2013, 06:30 am
Would somebody actually buy a luxury vehicle on SR? provided the GPS system was taken out prior to shipment?
Say for 1/2 off or something since the receiver would still have to 'launder' the car through whatever means he or she wanted.
It's a crazy high idea.
So long and thanks for all the fish.

Please see the Restricted Items section of the SR Wiki:  http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Seller%27s_Guide#Restricted_items

TL;DR: Stolen items are prohibited.

Terrible idea, dude. Like... that's not even how cars get stolen. People don't buy them intact. They get ripped apart and sold for parts. And even then, most of a luxury car's parts are going to be indelibly stamped with some kind of serial number.

How do you even plan to get it to your destination? There are so many massive holes in this. It's not something you could just surreptitiously drop in the mailbox, and it's sure as shit not something you could get away with being seized en route. Furthermore, the buyer would have to be 100% certain that nobody involved with the entire transaction ever got unfaithful, or nabbed, or anything, because the thing about drugs is that they don't typically sit around for very long. When you get drugs in the mail, you take them, or you sell them, or at the very least you hide them somewhere, which isn't that hard. There's nothing for the cops to look for 4 years later. Good luck flushing a goddamn Beamer when the feds are knocking with a warrant....................

Then there's all the horseshit about permits and licenses for transferring cars, and registration and titles and etc. It would require thousands of dollars of absolutely perfect forgeries that would have to stand up for as long as the buyer was alive...

It's just not practical, at all...

Half the price you would have to be mad, over here you can buy any robbed car for 1000euro.

Not all cars are broke to parts i know people who rob trucks and diggers and ship them to foreign countries not all stuff is broking down that only happens if the car is being sold for parts you make more money that way...

Not really going to offer it, but seems like it is absolutely crazy to offer any vehicle for bitcoin.
Thanks for the response.
