Title: Has anyone dealt with Mrbuddha?
Post by: CheapestCocaine on July 20, 2013, 07:19 pm
He offers a certain service where you buy actual american USD for bitcoins, but works in such large amounts that a slip up could cause me to go completely broke if i decided to use his service. He has good feedback, and it would be AWESOME if this was legit, and i could skip all the middleman fees and fluctuation rates, bank transfers, and just pay a few hundred dollars and get cash in the mail. Anyone know if he's legit?

No no... What I did was: US Cash > Bought a Money Pak at local store > Sent MP # to MrBuddha for BTC. I did receive my BTC in under 12 hours from the two transactions I have done with Mr. B so far. Quick responses to messages as well. Hope this helps and good luck!

As a side note: Ive also had good experiences with JumboMonkeyBiscuit (1 trans), vicious86 (4 trans), moneyhoney (2 trans). All for MoneyPak to BTC. For non SR trans you can check out Campbx.com or Bitinstant.com (currently down to fix some recurring issues).

i guess this guy turned scam artist?

was lucky enough he didn't get to my order yet.  and to think, i messaged him complaining he was too slow.  sorry for all who lost money to this guy. my intuition felt uneasy when he started calling me 'friend'.

There are several reports of people being scammed by this vendor, so use him at your own risk.

Looks like all of his listings are down now, but his account is still functional.  That makes me think he is about to cut and run.  I reported him up several times today so he really should be banned.

Looks like I lost $300. Oh well. Thank god this retard didn't let this transaction go through, otherwise I would've lost $1k.

Kind of a wake up call though. Any btc vendor could go rogue at any time and collect so many MP's and easily start a new account.
