Was looking good for the vendor ( Bitcoins ) but now he has turned into a scammer , done me out of 150.00 and i noticed someone said they have been waiting a few days now as well.
Just a heads up, stay well clear !!

Patience is a virtue. Waiting a few days is nothing. Things can go wrong, people can be delayed. Give it a week or two before accusing someone of being a scammer. For example I've run into complications with decrypting peoples addresses in pgp and also ran out of baggies, so my samples have been delayed now for a short while.

I consider myself to be an extremely patient person and would not go out of my way to write something about someone if i wasn't really pissed off lol...been buying btc for the past few years and have called about 4 scams before people clicked on lol.
Just trying to prevent it from happening to anyone else

Also this case is a little different, i sent him money, and he signed for it. Now hes sorting out other people and ignoring me, even though i know he has my money already. Plus he said it would be in my account the morning he received it.
I left it a while before coming to the forums.

IMO the scariest part of sr is funding ur account. localbitcoins.com is the easiest and best trust me. most similiar to bitinstant minus mtgox lol. and they have an escrow system so u wont run into this problem

Couldn't agree with you more, i have done 100's transactions in and out of escrow over the past few years with no problems at all, but when it comes to funding my account i have done a few expensive mistakes.

Yeah i think so, at least that's why i buy them on SR.
Usually it can take a few days to get the funds from your bank account to your silk road account, but people offer a service to accept paypal or vouchers that can be done instantly or in my case i sent the cash in the mail directly to the vendor.
And they do this for a small fee.
Your best bet is doing what the post above said lol. A lot of scammers open pages to do exchanges and when they build up enough trust/feedback they fuck everyone over lol.

I tried selling BTC locally, and have done so successfully a couple times. I use jumbomonkeybiscuit for cash in mail services. They've been pretty good so far. I'm hoping to clear my 3rd transaction with them tonight.

We will soon see who is right on this one...I would love for this to be true, but ill tell you why in think he turned scammer.
He told me someone reversed a charge on paypal for 5 grand the other day :/
And any time i sent him a message he answered almost instantly, but from he signed for that package i sent him he wont answer any pms, i even made a load of orders and put my message in the order in hope he would reply but he wont reply to any of them, and if you look at the feedback someone posted yesterday as well, you will see its not just me he fucked over.

I don't want to come across as a dickhead here but i wouldn't get your hopes up buddy, and im just being real, i have seen this happen a few times over the years and this is exactly how it plays out.
I had used him before this happened as well...he seemed like a really nice guy, i guess he needed to get the money he got scammed for back up somehow.
Look how many posts i have, i only come onto the forums if i have to. If i thought this guy was going to give my money back i wouldn't have even posted this shit.

UPDATE !!!
Received a message form Bitcoins there saying he has been busy and that he will give me 10% of my next order and he will respond to my request in 24 hours...
I don't understand why he couldn't just take the 2 seconds to give me my money rather than sending me a message.
I only found out there that one of my good friends Kellyanne (23 years old) was found dead. R.I.P
Head is fucked and don't have any coins in my account to sort it out, I hope he's not just trying to drag this out to get as much money as he can before he leaves.
Going to get some much needed rest and will update in the morning.

Still nothing...in fairness he did say 24 hours, but you're right, makes me think even more that he is trying to get as much money in before he leaves.
Lets see how today plays out, if i don't have my money by today, we will know he is scamming for sure.

why does his feed back still say 100% ??? first time on sr and stung !! . couldnt of tryed harder to find vendor with 100% puts me off chancing sr. hopefully im proved wrong and get my btc ?? wouldnt mind but he has not even opened my messages since payment ? lesson learnt !!!

And to answer your question about the feeback not changing, it think it's because he has over 300 transactions and there is around three 1/5 feedback. If he had 100 transactions it would be effected if you know what i mean.

I was in the process of negotiating prices with him when messages became more delayed. I asked about it and he told me he is moving into a new home and needs to set up bank stuff etc. No attempt was made on his side to initiate a deal, on the contrary he informed me that due to these circumstances atm he cant do anything. Also - he informed about the process on his vendor page.

I have been in contact with a few on SR about buying coins. but I have heard ppl have success with localbitcoins.... my question is this.. i made a OKPAY acct to do transactions bc most ask for the OKPAY. but i think it told me that you cant use OKPAY if you are in the USA... im not sure if i read that wrong... If im wrong, what is the correct way to use OKPAY? and how do you upload money?? thankssss!!!

I've never actually used localbitcoins, will definitely be using them for my next order though lol.
Wouldn't want to give you any advise in case I'm wrong, hopefully someone will answer you here soon enough though.
Until then, maybe a google search will bring something up.

This shit is a joke. I am seriously thinking about being a BTC vendor. I came here to sample some things but still havent made a purchase because I havent recieved my coins yet. MrBuddha and moneyhoney were the vendors I used. I will make sure whether the transactions are good or ripoff, that the forum is flooded with either good reviews or scammer warnings.

not great for you guys atm but I can say that bitcoins has come over to me as very honest in the transactions I have made with him, and went well out of his way for me at one point
they have definitely had irl relocation/communication issues and my feeling is that he will see you people right

I am still waiting on both the orders I made yesterday. Its been over 24hrs for both and nothing yet. I will definitely update again. But ya im curious what happened to some of the people who just never checked back in to say yes good deal or no its a scammer.

It's pretty unlikely that all of these people just coincidentally dropped dead of heart attacks, or decided at random to not leave feedback.
Usually when people ask "is this a scam?" the only reason they're uncertain about it is because they're the ones who just got taken for a ride...

couldnt log on all day ffs!. good news theres been progress( in my case anyway) paid 50 euro transfer but just got 0.34 btc 23 euro in account wtf!! but still not a word from vendor .has put on his page hes been on holiday??? will change feedback when corrected

thanks to all who have stuck up for me here and shame on the ones who doubt me after the feedback and number of trades i have completed. i have been honest and fair sometimes more than fair with all of you and in my hour of need the hole community turns on me. i had had a shit time lately after moving home having internet issues and on thursday last week i had to rush to london after something happened to someone close to me. i left someone to run the account but they where bombarded with 70 orders and even i would have found it hard to keep up and she had an hours training, she was lost and gave up so i raced home to sort this out and may even have to go back again depending on how my friend is when she leaves hospital. but thanks to updates on the site i can employ someone else to help answer messages and check accounts for me. this will reduce my workload and allow me to unpack my things so im not living out of boxes and get my office functional again
im sorry im working though the orders and messages now but have 66 orders and 94messages and im only one man.

bitcoins received = deposit /btc rate
so in your case, (50 euro minus whatever commission vendor is charging you) divided by 67. You then have to take bitcoin fluctuation into account
Again, to all concerned people, I would be very much inclined to believe the vendor's tale, he has integrity and I would imagine he will sort out any non-payments or mistakes

I just wanted to let everyone know that i was wrong about Bitcoins he definitely isn't a scammer, was just going through some real life problems, and i feel real bad for writing this stuff about him. Lucky for me he understands why my head was so fucked and why i wrote this, and i have nothing but respect for the man for that.
Sorry again Bitcoins and thanks for being so understanding with me due to the circumstances.
Only thing left to say, if anyone's looking any btc, Bitcoins is your man!

shit happens to everyone. this vendor has said clearly that there has been a fuck-up his end, has apologised and is seemingly getting round to sorting it all out (see post above yours)
my advice - just chill for 24 hours and see what happens before flaming the guy anymore

if you are waiting for an order still message me on site with the title "MY ORDER IS LATE" and i will find it and do it now im down to 55 messages and you need to tell me after you have paid so i can get it checked if you dont tell me you have paid it will be missed. as you can imagine if i answer 50messages i get 50 replies and it takes time to answer them all i am going to have more staff very soon believe me when i say im working on the issues that we have had to deal with over the last week and are putting plans in place so this does not happen again.

tried to buy btc off bitcoins recently and gave up on the transaction due to the time it was taking, I know this is down to bitcoins being understaffed, but maybe don't advertise that you'll have people their bitcoins in a matter of minutes if you don't have the staff/ability to do so, i went with mercabit.eu in the end, no escrow or anything but i've changed like 600eu with them in the past 10 days without any hassle and all transactions were pretty quick

I was talking to Bitcoins and said about clearing up what i said on the forums and he said he appreciated it.
Is it not better to leave it up in case someone who had seen it when i posted it, knows that he isn't a scammer now?
If Bitcoins wants me to delete it, i have no problems with doing so.
Does he get this reply as well? Or do i have to reply to his post?

Much better. But, IMHO, since a subject line cannot be removed, it will remain in perpetuity. I feel like to really correct the error you should remove the entire thread. Then, if moved, create a thread stating that you removed the thread falsely accusing the vendor.

no we are backlogged with orders and im traning staff who can train more staff but it takes time so im now here at 3am after a 10hr long training day paying out orders and training again but live tomorrow i have the perfect girl who will be managing the account with a few others along the way i will get this running efficiently again its 10mins to process each order and have 88 to do and 123 messages so please i have your coins its just taking time to process them

I have been waiting over a week to get coins from Bitcoins. I have sent numerous messages, which I can see have been read, yet I receive nothing in return.
I have used the service numerous times before and all has been well but not this time.
I think it is nigh on time to report him as a vendor as he clearly his not providing the service he is offering.

ANYONE WHO GOT SCREWED BY MRBUDDHA CALL MP # ON THE BACK OF CARD(800 473 3636) AND PUT IN A CLAIM.....DO NOT LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU WERE SCAMMED.....EXPLAIN THAT YOU TRIED TO LOAD INTO PAYPAL ACCT AND IT JUST SHOWED UP AS ZERO BALANCE...( I WOULD RECOMMEND SOME FAILED ATTEMPTS FIRST ) ....DO NOT TELL THAT U GAVE YOUR MP # AWAY......THEY WILL START A CLAIM FOR YOU AND ASK THAT YOU FAX OVER THE RECEIPT AND MP# ......RESOLUTIONS TAKE LIKE 10 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER....HOPEFULLY ALL OF HIS ACCTS GET FROZEN.......I PUT IN A CLAIM TODAY.....FAGGOT STOLE $2000 FROM ME
And how did that end up working out??
