Title: a reminder about sending BTC please

hi, I just bought a few btc but since it has been a year since I bought some I cannot remember if it can take a while before it shows in my silkroad account.  I think and hope it does.  pls remind me.

It will need at least 6 blockchain confirmations, and usually takes 1-2 hours before you'll see it in your wallet.  On occasion, it can take even longer, but you can check to make sure it's on its way by putting your btc deposit address in the search field on blockchain.info.

SR is having technical problems today; for instance, today my coins are not showing up even after 23 confirmations, when it typically takes 6-8.

Yup... 24 confirmations and counting, and still not reflected on SR  :(

cirrus, I have never heard of that way of checking up on blockchain.info - thanks for that.  :)
