The 17 days was how the previous market was setup, and the clock ticks from the moment the order was placed. It wouldn't make sense to implement it from the day we turned it on, it has to be based on the order itself. Although, I share in your concern that if the order was not fulfilled that you should have had the option to place it in resolution before the auto-finalization took over the transaction. Support is doing their best to react and reply to all messages within 24 hours, and I'll see if we can address this issue with orders that were past the 17 days that auto-finalized.
