I believe there may be a problem with what number for the messages that are displayed versus the actual number of messages you have.  We're looking into it.

Mine is 4096 and it with the 2 factor authentication works fine.  But in order for the site to take my public key I had to copy the exported public key from a text file and paste it to the box for it to take.

Try making sure you are copying it out of a text file and not from the forum.  The formatting can throw it off and give you an error.

Really? Come on. There is a fine line between caution and hysterical paranoia.

No one is saying that, but suppose someone posts a link here to a SR video and asks people here to view the video, knowing that hardly anyone else has viewed it.  They'd they be able to identify them or users from here, in theory.

Not smart. It exposes your true IP then... and you did it from a link provided from an anonymous browser.  Use your TOR browser to view links and if a warning comes up that it might expose you then don't go there.

Crazy thought, but are you sure the username is correct?  If you tried creating one with an uppercase it might have reverted it to lowercase after creating the account.  Since then the use of capitalization has been corrected so it may be that your username is not correct.  Try it with all lowercase letters.
