I went in and asked a guy at the post office (whom i personally know) what the best way to ship priority with delivery confirmation. Btw, Im not sending my stuff from this post office, I will do it from another city. He told me to print the address out on my laser printer and tape it on the priority envelope. I picked up all the bubble mailers that I will need, etc. I told him that I am sending business envelopes. I will see how they look. Im sure they will look better than hand written. But I don't want it to look hokie, either. Im sure Ill tweak the way that I do it as I go along.

That is how Im sending mine out. Its called delivery confirmation. No one has to sign for it, you just have to make sure that you send it 'no signature required". All it says is that the package has been delivered. Another vendor told me to do this and it seems like a great way to go. You do have to pay extra for it. Right now, Im including it the cost...

This is one of my top concerns as well. I was thinking that it might be a good idea to have  a buyers feedback. But, If a buyer is out to scam, it's really easy to make a new account. With this business we will never have a perfect system, but we can and should implement all safety measures possible for both the vendor and seller.

I understand that its much more riskier for a buyer but vendors have their risks as well. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out a way to minimize risk for all.

Yea, I will package properly. With sending north, it would cost a little extra for delivery. I'd have to find out the risks of sending international before I can give you a firm answer. Having to fill out custom forms especially is a little risky...Ill get back you...

This is interesting to me. I am in charge of a web site that sells products and takes credit cards every day. Some times, when they call in and want to do a transaction over the phone because they dont trust the internet (what they don't realize is that is all that im doing, lol). When I get a credit card payment I never see the credit card number. I can only see the last 4 digits and the customers mailing info. I do go thru authorize.net

So, im guessing that it depends on the web site. If they are set up like an authorize.net it would be next to impossible to steal credit cards.

Btw, honest merchants like the one im affiliated with are the ones that pay extra for the fraud. Since we don't have the cc in front of us, we pay an extra percentage. So, obviously, not only for moral reasons, Im totally against selling cc info. Also, I when I read the big news story about silk road, silk roads response was that they dont allow cp, cc info, weapons, etc. what happened to that? I don't care too much about the weapons but I am against cp and cc info. Ive had my cc stolen and it's not fun going thru the process.

I know a guy in Vegas who puts in big bets for other people. Im talking 25k on a baseball game. Is this what you are wanting to do? It would be a great service. There would have to be a lot of trust. I know of a guy who wouldn't place the bets and hope that the bettor would lose. If not, he had to pay out of pocket, basically became is own bookie.

The guy that did huge bets wanted to see a copy of the ticket before the game was to start. I agree, I think this would bring in some great revenue to SR and honest vendors that live in gaming friendly areas.

If not, please explain what you want to do...

Ok, I have them listed. Since Im a new seller, I will be keeping orders small (1-2) I will include priority shipping and will use the silkroad escrow system. I know that somebody is selling them a little bit cheaper but they aren't going thru the escrow system nor do I think priority shipping is included. PM me here or on SR, my current key is listed on the key thread...

Orders will begin to be shipped out on Friday (maybe thursday) But count on Friday..

were you guys going thru the terminal? Thats was the only way I could get it to work. When I loaded up the pc on bootcamp, it just seemed 1k times easier. on the mac, I had gpg keychain access and the dropdown thing. Sometimes I was able to download someones key just fine, others I had no idea what I was doing wrong. IF I could download the key to the keychain just fine, then I wouldn't have any issues. I would export the .txt file to a asc file. It worked a few times.

But with the pc, It has worked flawlessly.

I can vouch that wicked's program works just fine. I copied hit TOR's public key, imported to my key ring. made a message in clipboard and encrypted it with the public key. copied the entire thing into the program and it decrypted it just fine..

I am a mac man. From day one (downloading TOR) to trying to get the GPG working, I had nothing but issues. I spent days trying to figure shit out. Tor was pretty easy, but  I have windows on my mac, so today, I opened up my pc (via bootcamp) IT took me 1/2hr to set up tor and get the keys running fine.

My advise would be to bag the mac and run the pc if you are going to use GPG and TOR. Wish I would have done it sooner. Life is sooo much better..
