This is copied form Reddit because i am naughty. Peoples views? - Hi Reddit, I'm here to announce a new marketplace. The name is Blue Sky Marketplace and the address is (REDACTED). Work was started on it just before Atlantis shut down earlier this year. It was built from the ground up to reduce the potential for sellers or buyers being singled out by law enforcement or committing fraud between themselves. Some of you may be asking yourselves why you should trust another unknown marketplace with the current trend of new markets going out of business and taking your Bitcoins. The truth is, you shouldn't trust any of the current marketplaces, including BSM. However, BSM has certain features that make it easy to be a safe (and possibly somewhat paranoid) Deep Web user: Seller accounts default to automatic withdrawals after every escrow transaction has cleared, directly limiting the potential for Bitcoin losses One-click account deletion and one-click account "cleanse" (removes all transaction, deposit/withdrawal, purchases, feedback, messages) Optional "dead man's switch" password (deletes account and gives incorrect username/password error message) Seller/buyer feedback stops showing exact transaction history after a certain number of transactions PGP/GPG keys are required for every seller (and are imported server-side to ensure they're valid) No addresses are EVER sent in cleartext. If the buyer does not encrypt it, it is encrypted by the server and the buyer is warned with some rather choice words Early finalization is not an option until a seller has 25 transactions. At that point he can enable early finalization for buyers with less than 15 transactions. Once a buyer reaches 15 transactions, he will never need to use early finalization. Seller bonds are set at 0.1BTC and are refunded after 50 transactions. Seller commissions are a sliding rate from 6% down to 3% Withdrawals are fairly involved. No Bitcoin wallets, passwords, or anything related to Bitcoin is stored on any webserver/database machine. Withdrawals are batch retrieved and individually verified before executing on a dedicated offsite node. Withdrawals will be a bit slow for the first week or two as the verification parameters are being tuned and tested. This is a soft launch. There are 1,000 available user slots (buyer or seller) right now, and ~100 more will be added every hour when they run out. Thanks!
