Litecoin will not be the next bitcoin, there are basically no benefits to using it for either the buyer or the seller.

The next big Alt coin will probably be AnonCoin. Since all the other Alt Coins simply base off bitcoin and add a few useless features, AnonCoin is the only one with real potential in my opinion.

For gods sake its one of the least important things right now. There isnt even any feedback enabled yet so you shouldnt be browsing the site for vendors to buy from, instead go to the 'product offers' 'rumour mill' and read vendors review threads, if you like the sound of the vendor then you check if they can ship to your country.

If they do, ask them to link you to a listing where they can order.

DPR and the team have literally done one of the biggest 'middle fingers' to the U.S government in history. These guys want this place to be as secure as possible to protect us and protect themselves and that is understandable. For fucks sake the U.S government kill people for doing less than what the silk road staff are doing here.

Fuck sub categories. I'm a soon to be vendor, and was a large UK based vendor before the seizure. So, I can only assume with my service, product and having more employees this time round I'll have my position back faster than I know it. The amount of paranoia that went through my head two weeks after the seizure was not healthy, as well as losing a substantial amount of cash. It was hell on earth. My security was perfect, but I still had that thought in the back of my mind that I could have my door kicked in any second because of something silly I might have done in the early days of vending.

Then when I heard my employee (best friend) was arrested, I thought I was going to jail for a very long time. He turned up at my house the next day after being released from the cells, turns out he just ended up really drunk and did stupid shit, obviously I can't say what on here.

I don't want that happening again, so just be patient. You might want your personal use drugs, but you don't get them without vendors who feel safe enough to use this place and vendors don't feel safe enough unless they have a site they believe is secure enough to vend on. So while you might think DPR and the crew are taking a break, they aren't.  They are doing the important stuff. The stuff that will make this site successful long-term and not just for a little while.

Stop being so selfish. Imagine you were running the biggest illegal black-market place and were the Cyber crime division of the FBI's biggest target.. Would you be spending all day chatting with the community and setting up sub categories so lazy people can find what they want easier? Or would you be building a security vault that not even the most elite safe cracking team could break in to? I think you know the answer.

The place only works with the vendors. Us vendors need to feel safe. Sure, we need buyers to make money to stick around here but wherever there is top quality drugs at good prices there is buyers. Sheep has a lot of traffic, right? Its filled with scammers, left riht and fucking center.

The people running Sheep? Those guys are amatuers. Scammers to some extent as well. Whenever they ban a scammer all the money in Escrow doesn't go back to the buyer, it goes to sheep and they keep it.


It took Ross (if Ross was DPR) two years to build the site to what it was before and it was basically the same as this one. Except what? Feedback was enabled and there were sub categories, and a domestic filter. Enabeling feedback now is just stupid, perfect oppurtunity for scammer to fake themselves a handful of good reviews daily and then in 6 weeks time start pulling off bulk scams. Everyone seems to think the current SR team are going to scam, but if you sit and think about it, the reasons things are the way they are then you see they are doing everything they can to protect us and what do they get? Half the community crying to them every 5 minutes.

The domestic filter and sub categories aren't there. Wooooooopy, that will take these guys a day to implement and should be the last thing on their to-do list. Libertas said he was working on the sub categories and that they'd be ready in a few days. The probably already have a domestic filter in place but have just decided not to turn it on yet until they have a fully functional site. The domestic filter might have something to do with BTC as well, as right now in Britain it costs way over market rate to get BTC. Maybe the staff are just trying to show all options or something... I'm not really sure about that one. 

Plus at least this time round we know this DPR actually has a clue about how to run a place like this. The old one was boasting in forbes magazine - saying 'I'm not worried about being caught. I believe in my security.' As well as his message about his early days of marketing the site on BTC forums which is probably what led LE to the slip up Ross made - , doing interviews and answering questions that shouldn't have been answered by the man the FBI labelled as their most wanted cyber criminal.

This DPR is doing interviews yes, but half the questions get a no comment answer or he tells them he isn't comfortable answering certain questions and I'm pretty sure he even said at some point he is prepared to get caught. This guy does not underestimate LE, he knows they are good at what they do so he accepts the fact he might get caught but he doesn't want to do life in jail, who would. As long as this DPR keeps his mouth shut about important stuff and act like a robot in a sense, as in tries his best to avoid acting on emotion he is going to do a great job I believe.

He said he's prepared to spend life in jail if he has to, but he'll do what he can to avoid it. He's making a secure site to protect himself and his staff and all of it's users. This site is part of a revolution. Maybe you want your drugs now, but many of us are here for the revolution. I'm here for three reasons, the community, to make money by providing top quality drugs and the reveloution. The war on drugs is stupid and SR is the only place in the world where you can come and support that through the sale of drugs. Yeah you have sheep and bmr and everything else but sheep is a piece of shit and bmr is full of idiots who spend their time talking about how bad silk road is. BMR works quite well I believe, I have just always hated the place for some reason.


DPR, the mods and all the staff are busy. Please leave them alone so they can do their job. I have a very funny feeling I know who DPR is, well not his real identity but what user he was from the old forum and I used to talk in length with that user. If they are the same people, let me tell you that this DPR will not fuck about. He will literally have every single angle of every single miniscule piece of information covered. His attenion to detail was insane.

He asked me how much I made from the site before and I told him and he wondered my laundering method so I told him (I'm a trusting man my father raised me to be and I was pretty sure he wasn't LE at this point) so I told him. He was impressed with my scheme and said I should help people om the forum to launder money as the only other guy who did it was StExo and he was always busy as hell but I never had time for that.

Limitless offered the service to but that guy was a scamming junkie. It takes a lot for me to call someone a junkie but when you start breaking promises to people because of your drug use you become a junkie in my eyes. Limitless stopped posting when he said he would to all his buyers because he was always getting to fucked up and he was happily admitting it to people. It was a shame though as he had legit Mephedrone and thats hard to come by.

A day later this guy, he said he'd been thinking about my laundering scheme and pointed out two ways that the scheme could unfold. I worked with someone who was reffered to as one of the best money launderers in my city and the surrounding cities and paid him 25K for 3 days work for a bullet proof plan and with my knowledge of money laundering at the time (I was laundering under 70K a year before. When I became a big vendor it was a lot more than that so I needed some help).

I thought about it and this guy was right. Both those looks at the scheme show problems. I had gone over that scheme and every single scenario thousands of times and never found it and in a day he found 2. I offered to pay him and he declined and we talked for about a month or so after. We lost contact when the site was seized but something about the way the new DPR says things really makes me think it's the same guy. I have no idea of his real life identity nor would I know how to find it, I'm not a technical genius either who can Doxx or anything.

I'm not going to say who that user was to anyone ever for obvious reasons. Nobody needs to know but if the current DPR or even if this guy I'm talking about isn't DPR and you read this place make an account and message me so we can chat again. I miss the banter.


Do you have any idea how much work goes in to a site like this? When I was vending, it was me and my best friend was an employee. Just the two of us. I had maybe 50 orders a day, which isn't even that much in comparison to vendors like Symbiosis and TechnoHippy. Sym once told me that he was processing hundreds a day. I had to do 18 hour days 5 days a week, and my employee was doing 12 hour days. On a Saturday I was probably doing another 10 or so hours. I had to package, post, answer PM's, sort problems, deal with scammers, be active on the forum and build a maintain a high reputation as well as make it look like I was running a legit business for the laundering - day in and day out.

All the employee helped with was the packaging and posting and I'd also send him to collect the drugs when we needed stock which would be every 3 or 4 days as I never wanted to have more than a certain amount at a time. 

I never posted on a Sunday but still had to work for about 6 hours so that when Monday came round I wouldn't be swamped as Monday was always our busiest and best day for sales. I can't complain. I chose to do that, I loved doing it, it's addicting. I made a lot of money, I have lots of nice things and originally I planned to stop it all when I reached a certain goal, but do you know what. I never because I love this place and what it stands for. I can't vend forever, I know that. I have a new goal this time round and then I'll stop and I'll probably let my best friend take over and run it, as we now have 4 employees in total to lessen the work load.


And that was just me, a large vendor. Not one of the largest, but if you made a list of the top 50 vendors I'd probably be from place 35-40.


Now, can you imagine being the biggest vendor on the site. Ridiculous amounts of work, stress, paranoia, everything. The largest vendor was a team without a doubt you have to be to be able to do all the work but even with a team of 10, I still would have had to do about 8 hours work a day and I mean non stop. Do you think the top vendor had 10 people he trusted enough to let in on it? Probably not. So remember how busy us vendors get before you complain about your 1g order being a day late or whatver.


Now imagine being the team running this place. An illegal underground market place that the FBI and hackers are trying to infeltrate daily. I mean, crazy amounts of work, with lack of sleep and the sheer fact you are wanted by the FBI is enough to drive anyone crazy. Never mind half of your community that you are doing everything for crying about a sub category. DPR, and all the mods don't need this shit give them some fucking time.

We said we wanted a site. They gave us one stupidly fast. It might not be perfect, but it's proof. They are willing to work themselves in to the ground for this place and for our community and the reveloution they believe in.


Give these guys some time. By 2014, we will have a fully functional 1 mile thick wall of steel secured site that will be harder to break in to than the bank of Englads high security vault (this vault has 85% of the worlds gold reserves and about 10 other countries full wealth - there is only like 5 people with access with it and have openly admitted they are constantly under survielace), I'll bet my 75BTC stash on that.

Apologies if any of this came off as rude, but I started ranting and I couldn't stop. I get defensive when people bad talk vending/vendors but bad talking the staff who do this for us, is just out of order.



SO IF I SEE ONE MORE POST ABOUT SUBCATEGORIES OR A DOMESTIC FILTER THEN IM PROBABLY GOING TO SELF COMBUST!!!!!

You can buy LTC with BTC on btc-e & they are shooting up right now. I dont see a long-term future for LTC, but if you monitor the market you can turn your BTC into more BTC through minor trades. I bought LTC last night @ the rate of .045BTC/ea & sold  @ $.055BTC/ea... I made about $50 overnight. Its not much, but that was just a test & LTC is back down to .047BTC/ea. There's real opportunity to turn a good profit with LTC right now & not as much risk as with BTC, but be careful because in my opinion LTC is only on the rise now because of all the hype BTC is getting. I dont see any REAL value in LTC.
