The next chapter in BTC's story will be that of Wall Street.

There is talk of hedge funds soon moving venture capital into cryptocurrency, primarily Bitcoin. Granted, they have to get their heads around it first, but once this is the case then the market cap will certainly increase by the tens or hundreds of billions of $ within a short time (look at the gold market by comparison: market players will often pick up or drop tens of billions on the metals markets over a weekend) After this, the way forward could be lead by even larger institutions. If this were to happen then there is no reason why it wouldnt capture $1tn or higher, at least.

This would mean 1 BTC would roughly equal $100,000 each, minimum.

Our estimation on the time frame for $1000 was bang on. Once start within big money circles it would take a lot shorter time for momentum to build up and get moving, which is why the small investor climbs we have seen this year (and they are small in terms of the markets) will seem minescule by comparison.

The upward sweep of the coming parabolic curve is going to take everyone's breath away.

Holy crap this makes me drool haha!

will bitcoin keep rising? i hope so

Hank

I thought it would have started to decline but it hasn't looks like it is going to continue to rise

Reports of it being adopted in some Hong Kong areas now as well. Like I said as soon as we heard about China, whatever China do - Japan will follow.

If two of the biggest 'techy' countries in the world adopt it, more will follow. BTC is going places I believe.

I expect it to hit the $2000 mark in Febuary 2014. I keep changing my predictions but I'm gonna' stick to this one!

£2000 by January easily, maybe this month i reckon.

CaptainWhiteBeard

Two thousand pound? That's confident!

I reckon it'll be at $1500 by January. Which is like what, 1000 quid or something?

Yeah roughly mate.

£2000 by January. £5000 July. £10000 December

Watch this space ;)

Sheep are still claiming this is for maintenance and they don't want to overload servers with lots of small transactions.

The set of a minimum withdrawal of BTC at 1 (i.e. $1000) certainly annoys and harms smaller Vendors, but is it not an indicator they're not on the scam (on the grounds the larger, juicer Vendors can bleed out?).

I kind of feel sorry for SMP. They get roasted for not having adequate security, then when trying to implement strong security they get roasted they can't do it in just a few hours!

I haven't any BTC on Sheep at the moment and won't be putting any over, even though I want some of Frostie's delicious, cheap, Cheese.

But I'm declaring my position right now: Sheep are going to put a tumbler into position and be a leading deepweb marketplace.

That's right, my heart is they're in the "not scam" marketplace.

These guys will earn many millions of dollars over the next year if they can keep their site up, stable, and secure. With the MASSIVE influx of customers I think they know that too.

I'm more annoyed at BMR. That place has 505 gateways and refuses to load pages all over the fucking shop. It's just about unusable - something others whine and moan about there too.

Some excellent points here.

The main one being - yes they would just run off with your money and not say a word about all these maintenance procedures e.t.c.

I too believe we should give them a break. It has become very clear that they are not the best coders and their English is very broken. However they became the number one dark web market after SR1  went down. The fact is the site has had a huge amount of traffic and business in the past month. Now they are trying to fix the common complaints they get more grief. Give them time.

I have no doubt SR will become number 1 however its good to actually to have another healthy market next to it, because to be fair BMR although now the oldest, has never seemed to adapt.

One thing we can all agree on is, we are living in spoilt times!

I think Sheep just fucked up really bad... we already know their coders are not the best... seems to me they tried to DIY this tumbler implementation and royally fucked up the entire transactions back-end in the process.

I think if they were just going to take all the money there would be none of this tumbler implementation followed by staggered timed withdrawals etc. If vendors like trava and others have been allowed to withdraw 15+ BTC at a time then that doesn't compute at all with the notion that Sheep are planning to run off with all the BTC.

If that was their plan they could just do it. No one knows who is behind the scenes at Sheep all we have is visibility over mods like ctrlalt and Sheppard. If they wanted to take the money and run they would just do that it would have no real repercussions on them, there would be no need for this fake tumbler implementation cover story.

Just give them time, they may have fucked up. But lets see if they can sort it out then everyone can plan their exit strategy

Product Offers / Re: Need people to sample UK coke (85%+ fishscale)
« on: November 29, 2013, 11:27:45 am »
Ladies and gents,

How are we all? I'll keep it short and simple.

I need 2 more people to sample 200mg of my latest Coke batch.

I believe the stuff is 80%-85% purity. The best coke I've come across and I'm not just saying that to make my business sound good.

If you read my reviews for my Meth on my page you will see I don't fuck around when it comes down to quality.

So I want 2 people within the UK who have a good knowledge and experience with Cocaine to sample my product. I already have 2 reviewers lined up, so that's 4 in total.

The sample must include reviews on:

Product
Packaging
Delivery
Communications

You can also include anything else you feel important.

You must be an active member of the forum with at least 75+ posts.

The review should be written on my review thread and not on this page - review thread link:

http://silkroad5v7dywlc.onion/index.php?topic=1977.0

Anybody interested either PM me, or write a message to me in this thread.

Peace and love to all of you :)

Interested Sir. Connoisseur of Cocaine here. PM'd You

BTC has advanced greatly in the past months and is a lot easier to buy in many countries now. Safest bet is to buy btc at an exchange or localbitcoins e.t.c. Then tumble on the way here.

More features to come for SR :)

The rest of the sub-categories should be up soon.

Hopefully the cosmetic issues with the categories should be fixed soon too.

The snowball effect is in action

Certainly!

Yeah i read they advise you withdraw often but i didnt see any forced auto-withdraw that would stand by that policy.

Well sounds like they are getting off on the right foot by advising you too draw

Nothing like disseminating information in a calm, orderly manner with plenty of evidence to present... ;)

Exactly what I've been thinking! People are getting a little bit psychotic

Totally agree everyone jumps to conclusions

I've now come to the realization the Sheep is in serious  trouble and i dont hold much hope of me getting my 3.2 coins back :(
I've had to tell people no more orders are been sent out, I've honored the orders up until today, but anymore that come in will get canceled to protect my buyers. Im under a different name on sheep, im under my old SR name. Cant wait until i can vend on here.

Sheep may be having problems but why is it in trouble, what is this based on? All markets have their  issues and Sheep has been doing well recently

Silk Road Discussion / Re: New Vendor Registrations Temporarily Closed
« on: November 29, 2013, 10:45:20 am »
I am getting around to responding mails - please be patient. Sending several of them is significantly slowing us down and as an estimate from our time tracking, I have already spent 4 days (96 hours) answering mails in the past 2 weeks. I am not ignoring anyone so if you haven't received a response yet, I simply haven't caught up to you yet.

I presume the fee will still be $200 when new registrations are open DPR?
