Silk Road Discussion / Re: New Vendor Registrations Temporarily Closed
« on: November 30, 2013, 11:01:51 am »
I dont understand!? Do you guys read before you post? REGISTRATION IS CLOSED!!!

When it opens you are welcome to get verified! Thats the reason why SMP closed their fucking forum, because people dont care!!

Theres going to be a hell of a lot of spam coming towards admin and DPR slowing everyone down again because of sheep. While people like me will have to wait longer which can be frustrating. Its not hard to read the title

Yeah roughly mate.

£2000 by January. £5000 July. £10000 December

Watch this space ;)

Brilliant! Im keeping an eye on primecoin and litecoin. May dip in next week!

CaptainWhiteBeard

I'd go with that, I think it's pretty realistic. Average of $200 a week pretty much.

Take a look at Litecoin and Peercoin too. I bought Litecoins at $2.90 and now they are at about $35. If these puppies ever reach 1000 I'll be a multimillionaire, no joke!

I bought Peercoins 2 days ago at $3.50, now worth $5.50. Of course either of these two could crash but if you have spare cash I think they are worth a punt.

Bullshit part about people will trust a site 3 months old but won't trust a vendor of 1.5 years to send funds direct u people need to wake up too yourself's

What do you mean?

CaptainWhiteBeard

agree 100% we will never accept escrow again if sheep goes down. FE or bug off advise all vendors to do it as well!

Are you suggesting we abolish Escrow altogether? That insane.

If you have to ask, you are on the wrong path.

Not necessarily. If you put your mind to something. You can achieve anything

Well i guess i was wrong. I like to give benefit of the doubt. Its a shame really it would be good to have another market competing with SR for a little competition

MDA ~2x as potent but the hang over is 5x as bad.. I would rather take 2x as much mdma even if it costs more

A good point i didnt think of this. I like MDMA because the hangover isnt that bad..

Do you think it was the rise of bitcoin that made them decide to pull the scam now, or that SR had risen again or simply because some shit behind the scene happened? Because as people said, they did have a good site, they had 10 000 listings and a huge customer base.

I some scent, i believe that to be able to trust this black market operators, they must have some kind of idealistic thought to it. If not, if you are motivated by money the pay out for this shit is just to big for people to keep the integrity. I read somewhere that 40 million USD was the take, that sum would corrupt many people.

ctlraltweed seemed to be in it, hearing about the FE scam but that must be that he has withdraw privileges but not access to escrow funds?

I think they were struggling with the site and and with the rise of BTC again and them struggling to maintain the site, getting spammed with mail and all the out crys they just gave in. Either way they scammed all proved they werent able to run a marketplace

Sheep are still claiming this is for maintenance and they don't want to overload servers with lots of small transactions.

The set of a minimum withdrawal of BTC at 1 (i.e. $1000) certainly annoys and harms smaller Vendors, but is it not an indicator they're not on the scam (on the grounds the larger, juicer Vendors can bleed out?).

I kind of feel sorry for SMP. They get roasted for not having adequate security, then when trying to implement strong security they get roasted they can't do it in just a few hours!

I haven't any BTC on Sheep at the moment and won't be putting any over, even though I want some of Frostie's delicious, cheap, Cheese.

But I'm declaring my position right now: Sheep are going to put a tumbler into position and be a leading deepweb marketplace.

That's right, my heart is they're in the "not scam" marketplace.

These guys will earn many millions of dollars over the next year if they can keep their site up, stable, and secure. With the MASSIVE influx of customers I think they know that too.

I'm more annoyed at BMR. That place has 505 gateways and refuses to load pages all over the fucking shop. It's just about unusable - something others whine and moan about there too.

Yes i agree. They would be smarter to keep the site and not rip everyone off. They are on a good thing. I have closed all sales till this is over. sent all customers to SR2. Same gear, same prices anyhow.

annnnndddddddd its gone!

It's over folks, the blockchain is showing all the escrowed btc moving in one direction and that isn't into the imaginary tumbler. Apart from Jack I haven't seen a single other person claim to have had success at withdrawing btc for a while now.

Forums are down and big vendors on there are going for the classic FE scam.

What more do you need to call it?

Well i only have faith in SR now. Synergy can you confirm i will still only have to pay $200 next week when new registrations are open when i buy my vendor account? Hope it doesnt go up now sheep is gone!

Why should it be? They had the chance to sign up weeks ago just like everyone else but they chose to stay at sheep. To be fair they should have the same priority as anyone else.

I agree. I want to do a new vendor registration and i don't want to wait longer, while sheep vendors jump the queue
