Lol are you kidding? vendors dont have anything tied up in marketplaces? Vendors have way more money tied up then buyers. You know how escrow works? its money that the market is holding for products that the vendor already shipped out.

Yes no one asked vendors to start selling, but no one asked buyers to start buying. And if you practice safe buying practices a package seized by LE should never be able to be tied to you.

Nothing can be done to protect from a market going scam and stealing vendors money, without the removal of escrow or some modification of the current system

My reply was intended to the idiot who is jurking the vendors balls for some free drugs. Every one here is here on freewill. My 1 btc is worth the same as your 1 btc.

Which idiot is jerking balls for free drugs?

The red5 guy.... "vendors is taking 95% of the risk" CRAP!

I would never touch a market place without escrow...

Ah right. Yeah im the same. Escrow all the way. Ive always used it since the early days of SR1 and had no problems

HAHAHAH, it was funny, that stupid kid was just a troll he didnt make any sence!

Swallow or flush, swallow or flush, hmmmmmm SWALLOW!!!

He may have been a troll,  but would rather take 5 secs to tell him to go to the hospital then risk another kid end up being dead

To those who complain about the 'bubble' nature of Bitcoin - this is a present phase, only that.

Bitcoin is the name given to a revolutionary method of sending information, in this case financial, which is at its foundation a PROTOCOL. There are literally thousands of ideas we can implement within such a technology to shorten the gap between rich and poor, slowly returning freedom to the market. Barriers to wealth generation will drop significantly in the coming years through cryptocurrency. Sure, the infrastructure is lacking right now, and the market is pricing the protocol currently, but make no mistake - it is here to stay.

So if you get scared about a little drop in value over the short term, or have the word 'tulip' going round and round in your head - try relaxing and sitting it out, cos over the 4 years its been around the 'bubbles' seem to repeatedly be bursting upwards: this is the nature of a groundbreaking voluntary escapade. If you're worried about the value of your investment dropping over a few months, dig in and find the grit to hold and buy a 100kg bag of rice and live cheap for a while, cos you'll be kicking yourself that you didnt save for the future.

Definitely

Long term holders = profit

Thanks Captain. Should we be still attempting to login as much as possible or back off to give the network a chance to breathe?

Probably back off a bit. It can only help i reckon
