Whitebeard - not sure which ship you've sailed but that's a serious rum collection back there. Open up the bar, all drinks on me for the next hour and they better be from that top shelf. The crew's had a hell of a week.
Can I have a whiskey please? no ice and just a splash of water.

Thank you for the trust, Defcon.
Many of you already know me and my involvement in the community as a whole. At this point, I have some very large shoes to fill and strive to live up to the task.
This action helps show that the Silk Road is not abandoned. We are still here. Three of our loyal members were arrested, but let their sacrifice not be vein. Stand stronger than ever. Show those that oppose this idea that we will not be scared into silence and inactivity.
Cheers

We lost a large percentage of our staff last week. It's a testing time for the community.
Those of us who remain are working to nominate respected community members for promotion.
No SR2 staff member has ever been arrested because of their involvement in SR2. Let's keep it that way.
Welcome our latest moderator: DoctorClu
I'll try to swing by the Camel - thank you for the invite. Do I get a VIP wristband? Why not wipe all the messages? Everyone can save what they want and then wipe the slate clean.
No private messages have been compromised, and the servers are very secure. If there were any evidence otherwise, I would most certainly wipe way more than just private messages.
I am considering ways of expiring unencrypted messages quicker than encrypted messages, but don't want to commit to that just yet.
