God I'm glad it happened to me only once...
For me I think it was stress+new environment (new job, new country, new place).

Sometimes I feel like I'm falling asleep and my brain starts "tickling in a weird way" so I just move, get up, do something else (ie watching a movie) and I always fall asleep normally eventually.

Yeah like most things stress is a trigger
