Title: STOP THE SPAMMING.
Post by: bbbaac on January 02, 2013, 05:49 am
id like to see ( or not see) all these spamming cunts on the thread page. its just annoying and makes the forum alot harder to read. at first it was just one user name, now i see its 2. dont know how someone would prevent that from happening but it would be awesome.

thanks  ;) ;D

(The Mods are very busy currently trying to solve this problem)But Yeah I posted a thread similar to this asking people to come together and try to find solutions to help solve this problem. We came up with the idea for captchas which stopped a little bit of the spam for a little bit of time and then they took them down and now we are back to square one.

YA the capchas are pretty fucking annoying but if it stops the bullshit then i guess its good. i just noticed after i posted this thread i had a message in my inbox from one of the spammers. i think someone who is good at hacking should just shut down the fucking site that they are trying to promote.

I know the mods have posted what I'm about to say before, but just to state it again:  We get to the spam as quickly as we are able, and since we are forced to delete them by hand one-by-one, it sometimes does take awhile.  There is also no way for us to prevent it or ban the spammer because they continually use new/different usernames.  Please bear with us!  We hate the spam as much as you do and are doing our best to delete it as soon as we notice it.

I, myself, spent most of last night deleting spam, as did the other mods.  We are doing all that we can.

Thank you!

At bitcointalk.org , you will never see this trolling spam scam posts.

Nothing to do with ip addresses or something like that.

It is the same simplemachines-forum.

If this site of Silkroad forums, does what bitcointalk did, we would never see a trol with spam-scam again.

So there is a solution for this problem.

The question is why the mods here do nothing about it !

Why ?!?

I already posted the post of bitcointalk where the mass trolling spam is explained, and what restrictions are implemented to stop that spam.

If bitcoin talk can rule out the spam, so should Silkroadforum do.
Just do what bitcointalk did!

It will take the mods some time to implement the restrictions, but would save a lot of time in the end.

Again!

Why does the bitcointalk has never trouble with trolling spam, and Silkroad-forum has trouble with the trolling scam spammers again and again and again.

It will never stop, except if you are willing to do the very same thing that bitcointalk.org has done!

Bitcoin spam, belongs at bitcointalk.
They are smart at bitcointalk, so the trolling spam scammers are going to less smarter sites, where nothing is been done about it.

So expect to see more spam, until the same implementations of bitcointalk.org are implemented here on the SR-forum.
