Sorry, but you aren't likely to find a bitcoin vendor accepting PayPal here.  i did once and i am STILL trying to make up the money i lost from it.

As hard as you try we still see people every week posting how they got scammed. i try when I am on because if the fish ever stopped biting the scammers would move on!

Please use caution when trading with members out of escrow. I will paste some information here:

Downrightfast, aka drhouse on SR unfortunately has taken me for a $200 MP. It was my fault for trusting this member to exchange for btc. I had done trades like that before in the past without incident, hence my continued risk taking.

Facts: provided MP info on 11th, asked for an update on the 12th, replied telling me to relax. no response since.

Unless he forgot about the deal or some other interesting story, this person has scammed me. I have opened myself up to this risk, although this time I was too trusting.

This is just a warning to others thinking about trading with this particular member.

There is no such thing as using the words 'Bitcoin' 'Reliable' and 'Paypal' in the same sentence.

Bitcoins being considered virtual are not considered goods or services by paypal, so it is very very easy for the person selling them to you to file a chargeback claim with paypal, keep your money and have paypal make you have to pay back the seller for technically not ever purchasing any goods or services (chargeback fraud).

Furthermore, paypal has distanced itself, and I believe even installed measures that prohibit the sale of bitcoins through their service.

Don't EVER buy bitcoins with a credit card either.  It can be done legitimately through non-scammer organizations like MtGox, but it exposes your identity, and the whole point of why we're trying to buy and use BTC on SR is to preserve our anonymity whilst still doing commerce and ultimately aquiring FIAT currency that has been obtained completely anonymously.

There are MANY threads on how to go about purchasing BTC safely and anonymously, and there are also SOME reputable vendor's on SR that will sell you BTC through methods such as MoneyPak's.  Be warned though, the BTC sales section of SR is fraught with scamming vendor's, so do your homework.

Sorry if telling you that you'll need to go through more effort to safely acquire BTC is a let down, i'm just looking out because these paypal -> BTC etc. setup's are despicable, and I don't want to see you lose your money.

WHY WOULD ANYONE USE THE STUPID BTC  IT IS A TOTAL PAIN IN THE ASS U CAN'T TRACE MP EITHER WELL FROM BUYER SIDE THE VENDOR HAS TO HIDE THE MONEY ON HIS SIDE WHICH IS A HOLE LOT EASIER THEN BTC WITH BTC U HAVE TO FIND A NON-SCAMMER BTC SELLER FIRST THIS IS A TASK IN ITSELF THEN YOU HAVE TO PAY A 10 TO 20% HANDLEING FEE?(I MEAN WTF 20% FUCK EVEN 10% FUCK THAT) AND WHAT DO U DO IF YOU DONT SPEND ALL YOUR BTC THE BALANCE JUST SITS THERE I DONT WANT MY MONEY SITTING SOMWHERE WHERE I CANT GET TO IT OR ONLY BE ABLE O SPEND IT IN 1 PLACE ONLY THAT IS BULLSHIT IN MY BOOK AND WITH SR SHUTTING DOWN EVERY OTHER FREAKIN DAY AND THERE ARE REPORTS THAT NOT THIS LAST TIME THAT SR SHUT DOWN BUT TIME BEFORE MANY PEP'S LOST BTC OR WAS SHORT BTC IN THERE ACCOUNT WHEN SR CAME BACK ONLINE KINDA FUNNY HOW THOSE POST GOT DELETED 2 DAYS AFTER I READ THEM.

BTC ARE A SCAMM AND I WILL HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM I USE 3 VENDORS THAT I MET ON HERE AND THEY PULLED THERE STORES OUT OF SR FOR THIS REASON THEY SAID THEY WHERE GETTING SCAMMED IN TH BTC TRYING TO RESELL THEM AND NOT GETTING WHAT THEY PAID FOR ALL IN ALL IT IS A BIG PAIN IN THE ASS.

i MEAN U ARE TAKIN A RISK 3 TIME WITH SR THE BTC THE VENDOR THEM SELFS THEN THE DELIVERY WITH MY NEW VENDORS U TAKE 1 RISK AT MEETING THE VENDOR THROUGH TORCHAT AND GETTING UR DELIVERY AFTER UR FIRST DELIVERY YOU ONLY TAKE THAT 1 RISK "DELIVERY"

IN MY OPINION THERE WAY IS MUCH SAFER AND WAY EASIER THEN SR

MY WEED VENDOR USES MP IT IS FASTER AND SAFER FOR THE BUYER BUT A LITTTLE HAREDER FOR THE SELLER CUS HE HAS TO HIDE THE MP BUT HE NEVER WORRIES ABOUT LOSSING HIS MONEY AND THE EXTRA HASSLE OF HIDING THE MP MONEY IS BETTER THEN LOSSING MONEY WITH BTC

Whoa there skippy, calm down.  And PLEASE I beg of you turn off your caps lock.

MP are only in the USA, there are many many other countries then the USA my friend,.

To buy BTC you don't need to find a person.  I simply walk into a bank and deposit cash into the business account of the BTC market exchange I use.  Takes only a few minutes, nothing really to it, and no more a pain in the ass then having to hunt down a LEGIT MP/WU/etc. seller..

No one is forcing you to buy BTC, and this thread is about the OP wanting to find a source/method of obtaining BTC, not about your beliefs, which are all unfounded by the way.

It's not even worth my time to argue how wrong each of your points is, but theres no need to come in here screaming, we're just trying to help the guy out and be safe, if he wants to buy BTC that's his business, not your's.

Again, please turn off your caps lock man, that shit's unnecessary.

PROTIP: Don't buy btcs from the forum  It's success rate is less than 20%.

Also if a vendor profile url is not in the signature you will 100% get scammed not to mention violate SR guidelines.
