gangster16 will be found in the money and services section. He tricked me as Into doing a trade for 82 Bitcoins and he was to send $1000 cash. I didnt know I needed a custom order to protect me and just went off his feed back. Now he refuses to communicate and has blatantly stolen my money.Dont let his feedback fool you he will selectively scam you like he did me. Im trying everything to get it back as its all I have for xmas.
-
He tried to scam someone else as well but foolishly tried to cash their MP with another vendor and got caught
Hopefully he will be so dumb again
-
Thanks for letting me know. I cant believe I was so stupid to take his word, I didnt realise I should have requested a Custom Order. Ive notified SR, do you think their is any chance I will get my 82 bitcoin back? There is no official order between us, just messages and me sending him the btc
-
No you wont get it back.
-
Fuck man that really blows..I feel for you and wish you the best in trying to get your money back
-
Im new and just went off his feedback. 82 Bitcoins!!!!! Cant believe it. Im going to destroy his business by letting everyone know

Here's the other thread

Feedback helps, but nothing beats escrow. I'm know you know that now. That statement is for others reading this thread. There is no protection outside of escrow so stay in it!
-
Thanks mate, I certainly know it now. He is offering free moneypacks and bitcoin for cash in the hope of catching another fool like me
-
Im sorry to hear than man. Stick with the winnders who have been around for a while. SugarMama is pretty much all i use for BTC exchanges. Im about to deposit 2500 in MoneyPaks to her in a few days. Ive been using her for 8+ months and have never had a problem.
-
Thanks man. The work that went into getting that 82btc just to have it taken like that. I hate gangster16
-
i just sent him some hate mail. it read...
"Hey gangster16
On the behalf of the SR community i would like to say FUCK YOU! The fact that you can live with yourself after stealing innocent peoples hard earned money is beyond me. I will make it my life's mission to make sure you and other BTC scammers will be exposed. MARK MY FUCKING WORDS.
Sincerely,
Gridlok and the rest of the SR community"
again man im so sorry that you got scammed, and for such a large sum of money too

Wow sorry to hear OP.
So we shouldn't just go off of feedback to trust a vendor? I was under the impression that you couldn't leave feedback unless you had made an actual transaction, thus eliminating the possibility for people writing fake reviews for themselves. Is this not the case?? That really makes me a lot more nervous about this place than I already am.

ive known several vendors who create there own feedback. They make listings, buy them from another account, then leave positive feedback. Its fucked up, but the vendors ive seen do it have been EU vendors, no disrespect intended.
-
Yeah- be careful with the feedback thing. The feedback on a vendor's page can be faked at any time and the lengths some of these vendors go through to do so, amazes me. Most vendors are cool as fuck, but plenty are out to get you and usually these are ones who have not been here long. Always check the forums for feedback from other customers. This can be faked too, but I found it to be much more reliable. BTC scams seem to be the worst on SR, so be careful.
Good peeps with BTC I know of: CHronicCrew, SugarMAma, BlueSKy Traders.

I'd like to add CaptainMal to that lost too. I used him last week to transfer about $1700 into my account. Professional, kind, and quick as fuck.
-
That trash attempted to steal from me too but my partner sussed him out first and found he is not what he seems. 'No fee money paks' yeah right, just looking for lambs to the slaughter. Get off our SR you cheating pathetic dog
-
Be careful with vendors who have a few items for $0-2 and also have listings for hundreds/throusands They can easily buy a bunch of the free or cheap listings on alt accounts to pump up feedback and then scam people on the big ticket items, I've seen at least a couple of people who are blatantly doing that.

Thankyou all for your kind words and support without rubbing in my total stupidity of not requesting a Custom Order...Or any order... We had an agreement and he talked me through the process right down to transferring those precious btc like it was no risk what so ever and I trusted him. I just handed over those BTC because he talked slick and I trusted his feedback. 82btc and he promised to mail me $1000usd to Australia using usps priority international. Said he would have the tracking number asap.... Im a new vendor and took serious risk to earn that cash and it was my reup money. I earnt that btc by giving honest professional service to my customers.
Gridlokk your a true gentleman, I appreciate your support and how much you want SR scam free too Thankyou my friend! gangster16 get of the SR.

The only advice I can give you for getting your cash out of SR is this: Don't use anyone on SR to do it.
You would actually be safer just praying that MTGox won't get suspicious, at least as far as the security of your money is concerned. Your own personal security, though? Maybe not so safe, not with MTGox. But if you're careful, they'd never have to know it is SR-earnings.
Note: Like everyone else(as far as I'm aware), I highly discourage using MTGox directly, at least for someone in your position.

If one of you was scammed out of a $400 MP read this please: http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=91540.0

gangster16 has pulled all his listings and done a runner by the looks of things. I really hope nobody else got ripped off because of this but at least he is gone
-
Sadly I was scammed of the last of my money and wont be getting paid for a while so looks like I'm screwed for now. Looks like I'll be making better decisions next time.....
-
Sorry to hear that mate. Im in exactly the same situation because of that dog gangster16 and his bitcoin changing ripoff
-

The sad thing is he might be gone... for now. But most of these guys open right back up under a different name, account, and plan. Once you have been here a while, you get to know how these things work, and it is shitty that it happens, but Ebay has been plagued by scammers since opening, so it will never disappear. Just be smart and learn from your mistakes and talk to others just like you are doing here. Saved me many headaches.
-
We do our best to demote these scammers as soon as possible. Unfortunately, by the time we investigate, a lot of people have been scammed, but rest assured, we take action the second we learn of it.... Sorry for those scammed, Hopefully one day we will have a way to prevent these. But for now, I would either stick to the well known bitcoin vendors or go to one of the well known bitcoin exchanges..

Um apparently vendors dealing out off escrow get there accounts shut down? I have seen it recently with in the last few days. (Look in Meth vendors and you will know what i mean.)
Briefly "It was bullshit that I was out of escrow and a deal had been for a large amount of money."
Now this seems to be a trusted vendor that was shut down for a 'mishap' out of escrow - I don't have all the info but it 'seems legit - 'Yet this gangster16 fucktard has done an out of escrow order and seems to get away with it..
Why don't SR treat this pointy eared dog cunt with the same malice?

While governments world wide are battling 'drug users' (unless of course it's alcohol, cigarettes, or any other manner of highly addictive govt substitutes) we are battling scammers and scumbags of epic proportions on here ourselves.
I can't wait till the day we no longer live in fear of our 'masters' retribution for Libertarian self expression and can actually be open ourselves about these practices that no longer put us in harms way of being ripped off by unscrupulous cunts with an agenda of self enrichment at others expense.
Q: What do scammers, bankers and politicians have in common?
A: Everything!
