Title: Depositing large amounts of money into Bitcoin - safest way?
Post by: AnimusVox on November 28, 2012, 05:31 am
Pretty simple question: if I were looking to cash a large sum of money into Bitcoin, what would be the surest and safest method? Spread the deposits over a few inconspicuous transactions?

I want to know this too, like 500 bucks and more? That's my large amount anyway! :)

From my understanding the best way would to be buy multiple smaller ones and send them all to different wallets, and have all those wallets send to another wallet before sending to SR. Obviously the more you're sending, the more you wallets you want to use.
(make sure to write down all your wallet passwords, lol)

Can you have more than one instance of the btc software on a computer?

How do you secure your btc wallet with a password?

Thanks.

Contact one of the BTC vendors ( BlueSky, CaptainMal ) and have them do it cash for BTC.
