Hello ,
I have tried everything , on different networks , different computers , both mac and pc , re installed all software , tried an older version , and yet still no joy. When the browser starts up the landing page normally says connected to the tor network etc , but that is not even loading , i can search and connect here on it though , but SR i just cannot connect , i am a vendor and really need to process orders other wise it will effect my feedback , poor comms , late delivery's etc so frustrating , is there not a back up address or something , is any one else able to connect ?

Same problem here, just a couple of hours ago I thought I had been banned to my horror.
NowI can't login to silkroadvb5pi......, I've tried logging in to inbox, messages as well as login, tried couple of different sources,
to no avail, I really wanted to pay for this before the end of trading today, im in Austrlia, already 10pm, my eyes are drooping.
I'll perservere as long as possible. Good luck guys, stick at it.

I can't get on the site either, only the log-in page. It's frustrating because for the first time I received an order today which is significantly short on weight so I need to bring that up with the vendor asap so they can hopefully send out the missing part of my order or give me a partial refund.

When I load TOR it will not bring up the start page saying you are connected. I have restarted, new identity, new installation, etc...
However it will go to SR, Tormail, the forums, etc.. and be flawless and a little too fast for my concern.
Whats going on?

It's because Silk Road isn't working properly, and the illusion that SilkRoad is some big, complicated, important service is blown, there is no team of I.T. experts fixing things, because it's probably just some prick with a server in his garage somewhere in the Northeast USA, where a big Hurricane hit 10 days ago, exactly the same time things went to shit here on SR...... and they haven't been able to fully recover yet.......

This is really frustrating. I was finally able to login today after a few days of off and on. Now nothing again all of the sudden. Luckily i filled the orders I had. Yesterday and today I expect everyone received them. Im assuming buyers are having this same difficulty though. I doubt a buyer is going to sit on his computer all night trying to login just to finalize the order he received from me. This is crucial for me though as a new vendor. I hope this is resolved soon.

It seems that regardless of which circuit(s) you establish in the Tor Network Map, only one of the two streams within the circuit to SR will successfully connect and "open" - but the second one won't. It gives the "Connected" or "Waiting" status at the bottom of the browser window. Misleading I think since i doubt you can fully connect unless the second stream is up. Hopefully this will be fixed soon

Yep, same problem here... I haven't been able to login for 2 days, and my one order is in resolution... I don't know what the fuck I'm gonna do. Hopefully this shit gets fixed soon.

Down for me aswell man its been rocky the past could days, vendors aren't going to be happy that people can finalize quickly =\ not our faults though.

well has anyone logged in successfully? anyone? because one of the trademark LE tools to create problems for websites they don't approve of is using denial of service attacks . so if someone actually got on the site then at least we know its not completely down, which proves if LE's are involved they haven't fully succeeded in shutting down SR.

Hello Mate,
I am having the same problem. I am not that savvy with the old computer so I am struggling big time.
I have installed tor and can get me browser configured but cannot access SR it says server not responding and one time I got into the wiki page to press the link and it still never worked.....
If you could give me any advice I would be so greatful

Huh, I was just thinking the same thing! This really does suck! I wish they could at least come on and give us some kind of an update. Usually when it goes down for maintenance, you at least get to the site, and get a message.

12 hours ago it was "connected" but wouldnt load landing. - 4 from that it was running super fucking fast from landing page to site surfing. - 6 from that it is down again. how to go from loading super fast where surfers would think "hey it's fixed now and fast nice!" to down completely again? thats private information and shouldnt be discussed publicly. i'm sure the captain is still commanding the ship and we are experiencing growing pangs as to be expected from a site making it's dealers 22 million dollars per year.
however in other news, customers are slow to buy for the last 3 weeks except hardcore stuff like H that they will sit there for hours to try and get their fix. so it is affecting i am sure every single vendor with slow as hell sales for at least the last 3 weeks at the minimum. but i am certainly not complaining and as blasphemous as it sounds i feel blessed to have SR as it has been a Savior from the street life.

oh dam i got 2 orders on the way. one shipped and the DCN is sitting in my silkroad inbox and i have no idea about the other one considering the PO box isnt mine. now i have to look like a crackhead for a week straight to make sure no one takes my shit.
if the real ip of the server was discovered then LE could take it down...right?

i was able to get on earlier in the day.. but it went down lunch time-mid day. sucks.

theoretically if LE were to shutdown SR wouldn't they need the actual IP address of the server, hence revealing the physical location? and if they did happen to know the ip that would mean the snitches are out and DPR is talking to the wrong people. makes me worry.

DPR won't get busted and if he did he'd be telling them to GTFO anyway since there's too many lives hanging in the balance more than just his which would be automatically over. We're all soldiers in a War On Some Drugs and as a member of the Rebel Allaince, I'm fairly sure the Captain of our ship wouldn't leave his crew to the fate of the executioners axe!

Only been browsing on SR for last couple of weeks. Just got my first 14 BTC on to my SR account yesterday litterally minutes before it went down :/ . I was starting to think it was my bad luck but considering that amount compared to what others are worrying about its a small drop in the ocean. Still shitting my kegs tho, thats a lot of money for me lol + i wana get fucked up next weekend :(

I managed to get logged in last night , briefly , went to log on to process today's orders , and low and behold , it is just not loading , this past week has been the worst SR has performed . They must be aware of the trouble so fingers crossed they are working on a long term fix .
So frustrating , but what can we do ? Is any one logged in ?

i was able to log in yesterday around 11am or so and was able to get a order in hopefully my vendor was able to get on and fulfill it anyone else get to order yesterday

better yet, why not just have a sticky at the top of the forum that reads either "site up" or "site down" so there is no need to wade through these threads. Has there been any statement from staff as to SR's "state" and if it will be awhile longer?

Honestly the best thing we could all do right now is sit back and not spam refresh the site attempting to log in. Just wait for someone to report back that they've been able to get in, and it'll releave a lot of stress on the servers.

In last week SR vender support reply me "we experience several bugs"... I couldn't log in "orders" page for 2~3 days before went down.

you have to keep in mind how many messages they are getting bombarded with,
stress from the servers, stress from the community..
i am sure they're either working hard away from here to fix it..

I have been trying to take every dime out that I can to avoid this if it happens. Why would they not put out a message? They seriously need to shut down new registrations for awhile and let the rest of us continue to do our business.... Unprofessional for someone to not update as to what is going on

For all we know he is in the hospital after an accident, maybe he is sitting by a loved ones side watching them die, or maybe he's been arrested. One way or another I'm sure that there is a perfectly good explanation as to why the site is down and why we haven't heard anything about it. I hope that things will be up soon, but just take a deep breath and remember that shit happens to people.

Everyone calm down SR has not been taken down or comprised. here is what SR forum admin declares "Yes, we are having some technical difficulties. We have been making some serious overhauls and changes to the system, server, and website. While I cannot tell you exactly what is wrong today, I can assure you that we will fix it and have it back up soon. By soon, I mean I would be shocked if we didn't have it back up by Monday." it wil be up by monday. kool
