Title: ANY suggestions for MP-BTC vendors? : )
Post by: kitkat82 on October 17, 2012, 01:44 am
I got a moneypak for $260, assuming my usual MP-BTC vendor would be online today.  I am sure that he is just busy with orders or doing stuff away from his computer.  I really want to go ahead and get some coins tonight, but I am having a hard time finding a reputable vendor who

a. won't take 1-2 days to process
b. won't charge over 10% in a processing fee
c.  Seems to be truly trustworthy

I see some listings but the lack of feedback in them makes me nervous.  The DiamondRx guy seems good, his fees are low, etc...but I am not finding any info on him via the forums....

Any advice on who to use or if this is a good vendor for a MP transaction?  I really don't want to do Bit Instant, but in the future I may switch back to using the bank deposit option.

Thanks!

Has anyone used steadyeddy or CaptainMal for MP-BTC?  How about BTC Buddy?

Sugarmama and btcbuddy are legit, I've used them 5+ months ago without any problems.
Why don't you use a service outside of SR that way you don't have to pay the ridiculous fees?

Thank you for the suggestions.

Well the guy I normally use only charges 5%.  I prefer the convenience and anonymity of MP.  Plus I was scammed out of $200 by Bit-Central in July so I really am gun shy about using any other sites, no matter how reputable.  I guess I will just wait and see if he logs in tonight.

Bitinstant>Cash deposit>Bitwallet>bitfog>sr

totally anonymous and reliable with a $3 fee.

btcbuddy seems like he has a specific group of clients stick with sugarmama and wait the business day...maybe it will even so sooner.

Yeah, I think I will give Sugar Mama a try.  If my regular BTC hookup doesn't check in with me in the next hour I will go ahead and place an order with her and be patient.   :)

MoneyPak is popular with traders on the #bitcoin-otc marketplace. #bitcoin-otc is a safe and reliable option, feedback is left is to weed out scammers, and you'll often find the traders commission to be competitive. You can see feedback left for recent MoneyPak transactions here (clearwebalert) http://bitcoin-otc.com/ratingsfilter.php?notes=moneypak

If you want to stick to a SilkRoad vendor, I've heard very positive comments about Sugarmama's service.
