im new to sr and the whole bitcoin process, how and where do i purchase bitcoins safely and then from there whow do i get them into my silk road wallet? any help will be much appreciated. if someone gives me the right advice ill even throw them some btc on the sr wallet. PLEASE HELP!!!

If you don't recognize the dkn255hz... hostname there and are concerned about phishing, then leave the hostname portion of the URL right now in your browser's URL window (the URL for this forum), delete what is AFTER the slash and paste this AFTER the slash:

If you don't know how to get Bitcoins, then you will probably need a lot of other procedural help too. At the lower right corner of most (or possibly all) pages on the main SR site is a link to the "wiki". Click that, then click on "Buyer's Guide".
If you send me any portion of a btc, I'll transfer it back to you. I don't need the money but I'm a nube and would like to practice.

You use either blue sky traders, bitcopia, cryptocurrent, localbitcoins or bitinstant (not reliable).
Select one, and tell them how much currency you want to convert to BTC
They will send you instructions on what to do next. Usually they will make you cash deposit to a bank. Usually no ID is required for making a cash deposit
Make sure you deposit the correct amount
