nobody gives a fuck that you subbed a thread. Seriously. Sometimes I go to a thread that has a new post thinking OMG somebody has something interesting to say. Then I see the last twenty people just said subbed. nobody cares.

I think those users just don't know that there's also the 'Notify' button to subscribe... or they just want their post count to go up ;)

Did they fix the notify button? Because if they didn't, posting something is still the only way of subbing.

Sometimes kmfkewm you along with some of the other tech nerd mafia are posting long and informative posts on matters I know are important and could potentially have ramifications for me but in all honestly I struggle to keep up on some of the subject matter so 'sub' in to follow in the hope some of the knowledge rubs off on me.
Get over it ;)
