Title: Windows 8 issue

can anyone tell me why I cant access SR on my windows 8 machine? I am running TOR and it works great. Everytime I try to access SR (and yes I have the url right) I get a screen telling me I cant establish a connection. I can browse the web fine, just cant access SR. Are there some extra settings I need to mess with?
I usually access via my Mac. With no issues at all.

Are there any error messages when you go to onion icon -> Message Log -> Advanced?

Turn on the Info level messages by clicking Settings. A panel will pop up at the bottom. Check "Info", change Message Log History to 500, and click Save Settings.

Then try to access SR. What error messages does it show? Paste them here.

wow. thats weird. now for the first time its working. Im not sure what I did but it worked.
Ive been trying for a week to access and changing the message log worked?
