Title: Printing From TAILS
Post by: do unto others on July 24, 2013, 03:48 am
Hello All.

Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

This may be a silly question but I am not too savy when it comes to using TAILS so I have a few questions.  First, is there a way to print from TAILS? Do i have to install special drivers or something?

Second, is there a way to have TAILS save my disable javascript setting? I sometimes forget to uncheck the box when I first open Iceweasal.

I had a third question as well but it is escaping me for the moment. I am sure it will come to me.

Thanks everybody!

Depends on the printer. You may get lucky and it may just work when you plug it in. Easiest way to find out is to try it. If it doesn't work and you have to install drivers, then you'd have to do that after each boot.

Not sure about that. Have you enabled the persistent volume?

thanks for the reply astor! Your posts on this forum are second to none. God Bless you for everything you do for this community.

I tried plugging it in and was not successful. Is there a way to install the drivers so i do not have to do it every time?

I do have persistent volume enabled. It doesnt seem to save this setting for some reason.
