So everytime I launch my Tor Browser the main screen says there is a security update available with a link to the download page. But the download is only for the entire TBB not just the update. My question, to whoever knows, is do I need to delete my current version of TBB and re-download and install the new updated version, or is there a way to just download the update and install it into my current version? Thank you to whoever knows about this. The last update was a pain in the butt for me, so I'm looking for an easier way. I'm not exactly the most computer savy guy either. So a how-to-for-dummies would be great. Haha Thanks again.

You can extract it into an existing folder. The Tor people recommend not doing that, and extracting to a separate folder each time. If you have bookmarks saved in the old one, you can export them into the new one (although you should only save bookmarks if TBB is on an encrypted volume).
Personally I just extract over the old. The only time it was a problem was when they upgraded Firefox from version 10 to 17. Then I had to extract to a new folder. The yellow flashing update thing doesn't go away immediately in that case, but it's not a big deal. Goes away after a few hours.
