Just a friendly reminder :)
-
Are you speaking of TAILS 0.19, which was released today?
If so, I'm already using it... and so should everyone else.
Thanx for the reminder. Play Safe.

Yes, or the TOR browser bundle or just TOR if you're using a manually configured setup.

Cheers for the reminder :)

Also guys, save your bookmarks to use in the latest version of Tor. Click on the BOOKMARK icon (second one in from the RHS top of the page), select SHOW ALL BOOKMARKS and then click on IMPORT AND BACKUP. Then select BACKUP and save the JSON file to your desired location.
Once the updated version of Tor is up and running, click on the BOOKMARK icon again and select SHOW ALL BOOKMARKS. Then select IMPORT AND BACKUP, click on RESTORE and then select CHOOSE A FILE. Double click the JSON file you previously saved and your saved bookmarks will appear as per normal.

Can someone help? I've updated the tor browser at lest 3 x's and every time I launch it tells me there is a security update and I need to apply and the onion icon (drop down) in the upper left corner keeps flashing a yellow warning sign with an exclamation to it. I can't seem to get the installation to work?
-
Yeah, I got the same thing. Did you do an in-place upgrade, ie extract it into the same folder? There might be some file that didn't get overwritten / updated, or it's just a bug. Happens to me on every upgrade though. Usually goes away within a few hours to a day. Don't worry about it.
-
I installed latest version of Firefox, and then installed latest version of Tor again and it went away...
-
this is what i do....in other words...WARNING...
i just go delete all instances of the tor browser bundle...the tor browser folder.
then i download the most recent version of the TBB from torprojectdotorg.
then i extract to "Here" and Voila` :)
people have different ways of doing things LOL
personally i dont like to just overwrite the previous data in case of some type of corruption ::)
