Title: RSA gnupg v2.0.17 (windows)
Post by: The_End on June 24, 2013, 12:08 pm
Im using gnupg v2.0.17 for Windows. When generating a key I get only 2048 bits. How do I change it to the strongest 4096 bits?

Open your Command Prompt and type:
Code: [Select]
gpg --gen-key
Should be pretty self-explanatory from there.

Are you actually using the command line version or is that part of program like GPG4Win or GPG4USB?

Check "Use advanced mode" in your preferences before making your key.
