Title: Accidentally went to SR address on clearnet
Post by: CannabisCrusader on June 19, 2013, 08:32 am
How fucked am I? No I'm not a retard and typed it in thinking it would work/was torbrowser, I had both windows open was laying down and somehow fucking dragged the SR tab from torbrowser to chrome real quick. Exited out real quick, is this a red flag?

I don't think any other browser can resolve the onion addresses to an IP. This means that your computer shouldn't even have attempted to make a connection. You could prolly see this in your firewall.

I am how ever not sure so might be best if someone with more knowledge answers.

Best regards

Well, it may have made the DNS request before you exited, and of course that failed. So at worst you got a DNS leak.

It is extremely unlikely anything will come of that.
