Guy who looked way too awkward in a usps uniform knocked on my door today and asked me to sign for a package mailed priority. Alarms immensity went off because
1. I have never used my living address for illegal goods. Only boxes with business address. Why was this package mailed to a virtual business office post box being delivered to my home?
2. Priority with signature? Yeah right.
3. After refusing and saying for him to return to sender, he started to comment about how it was "Strange" for someone to refuse a package. Started asking me if something was inside I was nervous about. I kept denying everything I could, until he said, "well I will have to forward this package to the nearest united states postal inspectors office who could open the package without a court order, and that if anything was found inside I "shouldn't expect a knock, but your door jam being smashed in." I asked him if he was a cop and he walked away saying "No, but I have seen this happen many times."
I don't need advice about what to do, I took care of all that already. No drugs in the house really anyways. Only operate on a USB tails which wash smashed and flushed. Stay safe

When they resort to open threats with words you really know they have nothing.
The fact is that this sort of intimidation is the last resort they have when real working approaches fail, but sadly so many people yet fall for it and become scary, when they should immediately understand instead that the fact they are trying to scare you out with words and psychological tricks it is just because you have the knife from the handle in the issue.
I really hope more people would start understanding this because it is really sad when LE have nothing and people just destroy their lives with their own hands.
P.S: When LE say the typical excuse "we are just doing our work" you understand by these things how much they lie about it and how much they are, instead, doing it willingly because they like it. If you really were just doing "your work" - even not agreeing on what you are asked to do, but you are paid to do it so you must - you would never resort to psychological torture (because that's what it is in the end) to obtain something you cannot obtain with the laws you supposedly follow just because "it is your work", isn't it?

IniniteSource you are a troll that constantly lies and makes things up. You've had a few vendor accounts banned. Do you need attention this bad? You can talk to me if you need some attention bud.

Must have been magic, right mate?

you have to admit though that if it's true, it is a nice closing of the karma circle for the people he threatened the other month.

This story is bullshit.
-
Well I'm not gonna call him out on a situation I know nothing about unlike what he did to me for trying to do a presale for under 2k worth of shrooms to 5 people with FE for CHARITY...... Tried to slip in the human fund then acted a fool when we played along. I hope you did get a CD after wishing trich on our entire crop..... You are just a slimeball and need to go away for a while and not look back.

if this is all true, I wouldn't be surprised if the vendors sent him something with shitty stealth and/or tipped someone off using TORmail or the like 8)
There's a limit you can fuck with people that are in charge of sending you highly illicit material. Their stealth ~= your freedom

only operates from a usb stick that was smashed. And how are you online now? :D

InfiniteSource is a dumbfuck. He even uses onion.to at times to browse the forums when he has to be able to post from multiple accounts at once. Its hilarious.

LOL. If they were setting you up for a bust, LEO would not send something to your house if you have been using a different address. Common sense. This story is BULLSHIT.
~45
EDIT: It's easier to get people to like you when you don't care if they like you or not 8).

This guy is an infinite source of bullshit.. anybody who has been in the forums for any time at all learns this quite quickly!
I'm sure, as others have said, that this will also be bullshit!!
-
It doesn't matter if the story is true or not. I personally replied as if it was true just because anyway there was something to learn for newbies in the story (false or not). Too many people still talk to LE when they make threats not understanding that if they do is just because they have nothing. If they have something against you they will simply employ it immediately, they will not waste time advising you of what's going to happen.
-
I kept denying everything I could, until he said, "well I will have to forward this package to the nearest united states postal inspectors office who could open the package without a court order, and that if anything was found inside I "shouldn't expect a knock, but your door jam being smashed in."
All lies. Refusal to accept a package does not constitute grounds to open it. Also, LE can't enter your home without a warrant or without your consent. A package delivered to you like this one was would not be enough to secure a search warrant. You have to be directly tied to the shipment somehow, either through a request you made for the package to be delivered to you, or your payment for it. Otherwise anyone could simply send you a package full of contraband to have you arrested by entrapment. Which is totally illegal.
Remember, kids: you're not allowed to lie to LE, but they're allowed to lie to you. ;)

This Is strange. I also received a UPS slip on my door today and have NEVER given my home address away for anything on the Internet.
UPS then called me through a private number and wants me to come pick It up In a few hours...

I'm not 100% sure yet. I was thinking about having someone else go and sign for me.
Would I be safe If I signed for It but didn't open It?
I don't know It just weirds me out because I've never had mail sent to this address. Any suggestions?

Tell em to fuck off (as nice as possible).
As for InfiniteSource.. Don't engage the psy-ops agent's, guys. They won't stop until we no longer engage them and fuel the fire.

If someone at my door started making threats like that saying my door would be kicked down, I would immediately act concerned, tell them I am calling the police in puzzlement to try to find out why my door would be kicked down for someone sending me a random package.
-
@imghost9 - If you truly do not know what the package contains, or its origin; then tell the post service simply that. You are doing nothing illegal by refusing a package that you did not intend to receive. It's probably your best option considering that you obviously buy from SR, if the LE is on to you this would be a fairly easy way to try and set you up.
Just my opinion, but as always use your best judgement.
Wish you the best

Thanks everybody. Turns out It was a Tv meant for my neighbor, She gave them the wrong address. I had somebody go sign for It, and when I saw the big ass box I almost shit my pants lol!
All Is well though, I guess I just overreacted.
+1 to everybody who gave me advice :)
-
I can understand the package being delivered to the wrong address right next door, but how did they also get your number to call you?

Assuming the story is not BS, it is possible they reverse looked up his address to get his home phone number. Have had this happen to me before with a package from Purolator. I inquired how they got my number when I got a call at home, was told that most likely they reverse looked up my number from my address

I called UPS after I got the slip and asked when/where to come get It. She told me that the driver was still out and that I'd have to wait. Around an hour or so later I get a call from a private number telling me the address/time to pick It up.
Whole thing was me being paranoid I guess lol. Big eye opener for me though, this Is the first time I had something like this happen since using the road.

One time after a night on the town I was waken up by a call from a delivery service. I was told that the delivery man had a 25 kg package for me and wondered where he cold meet up with me to deliver this package. I rarely buy stuff on the internet and elsewhere so I had no idea what this 25 kg package might be, so I agreed to meet the guy and pick up the delivery. When I met him I had to sign for the package and it was then I understood what was going on. The name on the signature sheet wasn't mine, but my brothers. He had bought a 25 kg bag of fertilizer to make explosives.
The reason why I was called was because the delivery guy hadn't been able to get hold of my brother and since me and my brother have same last names and at that time lived at the same address he just put it on me.

This story is bullshit.
LOL pretty much...if the USPS finds a package with drugs...they try to get that person to come sign for it at the post office. and BOOM!! (plain clothes officers arrest you. for possession)
Controlled deliveries are very rare around my neck of the woods.
-

UPS keep database of all names numbers packages associated with an address.
if you receive a package before or send a package they look up your address and the numbers come up.
private number is from sorting center, they say private so they not have people call back all day ask for packages.
