Title: Tormail "Read" signal?

Tormail has an option to get a "receipt" when an email is read.  I can't seem to find this working properly.  Has anyone used this feature with any success?

Read receipts are kind of useless because the recipient has to allow the receipt to come back to you. So if they don't want you to know they read the email, you won't know.

Most of the time the best indicator that they read the email is that they sent you one back. :)

As astor already explained they are pointless, I have never seen them actually used properly.
