I had been locked out of my account because an error SR made and my passphrase didn't work for a few days. They corrected that problem but than wrote me the following email
Your seller status has been suspended
Vendor Support
Dear marthastewart,
We appologize in advance if this action has been made in error. Your account is under investigation for violation of your agreement as an independent seller at Silk Road. You are not being accused of anything, but your account has been suspended until further notice. If you have any questions or concerns, please reply to this message. Thank you for your patience with this.

I Got this email saying my vendor account is suspended. I ahve never asked anyone to FE or ripped anyone off and have a 100% rating. This is bullshit. The letter I got.

You recently allowed your Silk Road account to be compromised by entering your login details at a phishing site, or allowing a keylogger to operate on your system. By doing this, and not employing proper security measures, you put your buyers details and funds at risk. In my opinion, that alone puts you in breach of the Seller contract that you agreed to abide by upon purchasing vending privileges; one of the 7 points in the Seller contract is the following:
Treat your customers with respect. Go above and beyond for them.
You showed reckless disregard for your customers and demonstrated absolutely no respect for their safety by allowing your account to be phished. I would imagine any buyers that had their details compromised would also be"SUPER UPSET".
The reason that Silk Road has suspended your account is in order to investigate the issue that occurred; it's right there in black and white in the message you received. ???
This is something that will have to be taken up with Vendor Support in any event; we can't do anything for you here as we have no administrative access to the main site. However, please note that if you are found to have breached the terms of your agreement, your vending privileges will not be reinstated.

Well I give you an A for honesty! Though I think you should remove the Caps also...and you should re-read the message they sent you.. They could not have been more clear and even told you sorry in advance if this is there mistake and by your reaction I assume it is. And they said if you have a problem...respond to the message. And did you do that?
You do realize the Mods in the forums absolutely can not do a single thing for you? And there will be no duper power or protest as this is no big deal and since you didn't do anything wrong it should be fixed fast. Also look at the bright side...you do not have to return messages today...and tomorrow is Sunday and no mail so you got lucky in this is not a Monday and tomorrow is not Tuesday. So that is a good break ;)
Also when you calm down as I am sure your upset and not knowing what even caused this is of course bothersome....know that this is the stuff they have to do to keep the buyers safe. And it is best you are cool and understanding ...Sorry this happened to you...

I'm glad SR is being tough on vendors. They need to be like ninjas and better than average behind the computer chair.
I just got a MSG from a vendor saying they want to resolve a neg feedback I made over a month ago. He said he'd send a reship shortly. Funny thing is that I never gave any address to him for this. He still has my original address from over a month ago, which means it has been pasted into a document somewhere. Jeese. Please don't send me anything and just fucking delete my address please, pretty please.
I found out later that he forwarded my order to another vendor who is not domestic and from a high profile country. It got seized with my name and address on it. Fuck! Thanks. I never order across seas, as if he did this. Then made me dispute it in resolutions and lost half my money.
So yea, there is a lot of weak vendors that are putting buyers at risk. Misleading

that is total bullshit I never did SHIT to get fished. I use the same url saved on my computer to access SR. Keylogger lol are kidding me.... nobody comes to my house or near my computer. SR fucked up and has to make it seem like I did something wrong. What about the close to 10 other vendors this happened to in the same few days.... also said no way it was being fished. Quite fucking blaming me and take responsibility. I d not get fished you guys fucked up on your end on mine. Sick of all the mods trying to save SR's rep by lying. You accuse me of putting my customers at risk when I did not get fished and no keylogger. So what SR guilty before proven innocent?

People don't just get locked out of their accounts - for someone to get access to your account, they need your password. If your password is even decently strong, then there's no way someone is going to guess it. For someone to get access to your account AND your bitcoins, they need your password and your PIN. Again, if those things are sufficiently strong, no one is going to have guessed them.
Assuming your password and PIN were strong, that leaves the following possibilities:
1. you were entering these incorrectly;
2. at some point, you entered them in a phishing site; or
3. your computer is compromised somehow (keylogger,etc.).

I need to add nothing to scout's post apart from one rebuttal to one of your points:
Out of the 5 vendors that had their accounts compromised in the same week as you, 1 of them admitted that they definitely entered their details into a phishing site, and another admitted that it was 'highly likely' that they entered their details into a phishing site.
That leaves 3 vendors, all of whom are relatively new and seemingly inexperienced, who swear there's no chance they allowed their information to be compromised and that "SR fucked up". No large / experienced vendors were compromised over the two weeks that we see people getting phished, apart from albionessentialols - and funnily enough, he readily admitted that he was phished and accidentally gave his credentials away by logging in at the incorrect URL.
If "SR fucked up" then everyone's accounts would have been compromised; as you can plainly see, that is not the case. Please take some responsibility for your inadequate security measures.

You know there are software keyloggers, right? It's like any other malware. An attacker doesn't need physical access to your computer, they can infect it when you simply visit a malicious web site, for example.
It's a good reason to use Tails, especially if you are a vendor. 99% of malware is made for Windows, but even if there was some malware for Linux (which I'm not aware of any existing in the wild at the moment), your system would be wiped clean on the next reboot.

g is i'm not new to SR. I have been buying for about one year and half no security and had a strong pass phrase. Maybe I entered the new pass word I changed 3 weeks before this wrong over 50 times but no reason to kick me off because of it.
I had well over 150 transactions 100% rating. Sold mdma at $45 gram domestically USA, LSD at $50 for 5 and $90 for ten strip. Honey oil ear wax and shatter for $30 a gram. I sold it cheaper than anyone. I should not get kicked off. All in escrow. I have over 50 sheets to sell again. people help me out

2 and 3 are no possible way. I have been on SR as a buyer and no all about encryption and security studying the forums. I bought here for over a year and a half. 1 yes maybe. 3 weeks before this happened I changed m pass phrase to strong one and maybe I entered it over 50 times wrong and thats what happened but no reason to kick me off SR. I have a 100% rating and well over 150 transactions done. I sold domestic mdma for $45 a gram, lsd for $90 a ten strip, ear wax and shatter for $35 a gram. I sold it cheaper than anyone. If I messed up and entered my new strong pass phrase I made 3 weeks before this wrong over 50 times than ok. But a reason to kick me off? because 2 and 3 are no way where the reasons

Sales are not permitted without a vendor account. You do not currently have a vendor account, so you can not make sales, neither in escrow nor out of it. I presume your vending privileges will be restored when the administrator completes their investigation - assuming you did not violate any terms of the Seller contract that you agreed to abide by upon purchasing vending privileges.

Now you're stating that a possible reason for you not being able to access your account is because you may have locked your PIN? After everything above, you're now saying that a possible reason for all of this is because you may simply have been forgetful?!?!?

I am not trying to sell without a vendor account I'm sure I will be given access again. No what I'm saying is that 3 weeks prior to this happening I changed my pass phrase to another strong one. I may have entered it wrong 50 times or more and maybe thats why I couldn't gain access. Because I was not fished or had a key logger. I have top security linux and MAC knowledge. So that didn't happen. So maybe yes I entered it wrong I can accept that rather than blame SR, although a few other vendors it happened to around the same days. One yes admitted he was fished. I was not. So why kick me off when maybe ok I can apologize and accept maybe I entered a pass phrase over 50 times wrong that was 3 weeks old.
I at no point was a danger to my customers and that's why I'm being kicked off because SR staff wants to say I was fished, which i wasn't, or had a key logger, which i wasn't I have top security knowledge and been buying on SR over a year and a half. I had a 100% vendor rating with over 150 transactions. I'm not trying to sell my LSD without an account but I'm sure I will get it back because I did nothing to jeopardize my customers

I don't think I'm really considered a member of "SR staff" ( :( ) but I do know that they will absolutely unlock your account if they don't find any policy violations. I'm sure everything will be okay with it!
