Can anyone explain to me how to set one up ???

I download the software on c.net but it just doesn't explain it all ...advise or is their a section i could read

Thanks astor that was very helpful. Any chance you have one of those about setting up a dark net boot able usb that's truly anonymous ?

No, that was going to be my second tutorial, but I never got around to it.

The TrueCrypt documentation has all the info you need, but it may not be simple for everyone to follow: http://www.truecrypt.org/docs/?s=truecrypt-portable

Interestingly, some of the Tor Project people have a negative attitude toward TrueCrypt. Seems like some of them only trust LUKS/dm-crypt, but that's for Linux.

c|net ("c.net") have been known to place malware in their downloads, I would advise not using this site at all.
