Title: The future of Bitcoin, Zerocoin
Post by: Chaosforpeace on April 12, 2013, 08:19 pm

What do we think about this? Will it be integrated into the system? Is bitcoin really not as anonymous as we hold it to be?

It's the CIAs way of tacking on a tracker tool.  Clever.  The only people who would download and use it arempeoe who are trying to hide money.  Easy pickings.

Interesting read. One barrier to adoption is that it takes 50 times as much computational power to process zerocoin transactions, although the authors admit their code could be made more efficient. I'm all for it.

If DPR puts out a message backing it, then I could see it going big. Otherwise I don't really think it will ever catch on.
