What is this OVDB forum i see on the bottom and also see gues markets? What is it for or how is it to be used? Been wondering that a long time.

OVDB was the Open Vendor Database, a separate onion drug forum that operated in 2011.
The admin shut it down and a bunch of refugees (including myself) came here, so DPR created a subforum for the old members to find each other.
Everyone was either absorbed into the SR community a long time ago or left the scene.
That's why that subforum is dead.

I never realized you were a refugee astor, and that forum isn't dead...it's just a bit slow.

Fair enough. I don't pay much attention to it, but yeah I was on OVDB back in the day.

No, I had a couple of differently named accounts there, like I've used a few different accounts here. :P
But I can describe specific things about that forum that (I don't believe) have ever been discussed here, to prove it.
For example, somebody was posting PGP messages that, when you opened them, would deflate and fuck up the recipient's computer. There were a bunch of reports of that.
Maybe kmf remembers.

I wasn't doubting you, I just didn't remember you. In my defense, it was, what, 2 years ago almost when it was in it's prime? Pockets of resistance still remain :)
