Hello I purchased Rosetta Stone via SR and downloaded the language I want in a rar format. I also downloaded DAEMON tools lite as I was told and try to mount the rar file and then it says blank disk entered.
What should I do?

You can't mount a rar file. You have to extract the iso file inside. :)
-
Download 7-zip (it's free), extract the rar files, mount the included files and install.

I extracted the iso and now try to mount it on Daemon tools lite, it then shows up on my desktop and when I click it, it takes me to a folder with four other folders in it: data, documentation, languages, and speech.
Thanks for all the help! 8)

Any other suggestions? Thanks guys! :o

Never used DAEMON tools, but I have PowerISO and it always works fine for me. Just mount the .iso file to a virtual drive, boot up Rosetta Stone and select add language. Or you can always burn the iso image on to a blank disk. Hope this was some help.

i'd personally use slysoft virtual clonedrive. i use it all of the time.
i've never gotten daemontools lite to work the way i want it to.

Slysoft is only available for windows correct? I have a Mac and am going to give PowerISO a try, wish me luck!

Gosh, I am starting to feel hopeless. Has anyone set up Rosetta successfully on a mac? I haven't found any of these programs to work besides daemon tools and it is extremely difficult to use.

Yeah, I've given lots of my friends rosetta stone and it's not that difficult.
First of all, stop trying to use alternative software to mount iso files. You're using a mac. Most of the apple computers that I've used, you can double click and it'll mount it itself and if that fails then use disk utility that comes on the computer. This honestly isn't that difficult and if you have trouble using a computer you're going to have one hell of a time trying to learn a language.
Edit: Also, did you get the pc version or the mac version? And why would you pay for software you could download anywhere?
