Title: Limetless no longer a vendor?
Post by: bludsrevenge on December 26, 2012, 06:57 am
I was just going to check out the Mega raffle and the listing wasn't there. Than I went to look for Limetless and his vendor account is deleted. What happened?

I thought it was weird that he spammed the PGP Club Thread with that.

I thought it was weird that he spammed the PGP Club Thread with that.

He's a prolific poster, to put it mildly, but I cannot recall him engaging in spamming before. This is most uncharacteristic.

Yeah, it seems out of place in that thread

Only thing I can put together is it had the newest comment in that section at the time (I posted minutes before, refreshed and saw hist post).

yea but that seems a little harsh doesn't? Wouldn't they give him a warning or something at first and make him remove those spamming post?

His account was maybe compromised? Could be the the reason for the pgp club post.

My theory is that several people have independantly discovered a way to abuse the "report vendor/item" link into forcing a vendor to be suspended.

If it's somehow automatic then all you need to do is open a bunch of user accounts and you can nuke any vendor you want!

That's some dumb shit.

fucked up if that's true, think it was better when you just contacted SR support if you had a problem with a vendor

I really think this report a vendor things needs to be taken away. It was a good idea, but obviously people aren't responsible enough to have it.  Why don't I just make 50 accounts and methodically ban every vendor. Than I will have cornered the market. Also an easy tactic of anyone anti SR. LE could just start clicking that button until they are forced to take it away.

God damn kids stop speculating. I posted around the link to the ticket thing because sales were slow but "apparently" I have been doing OOE sales which isn't true. I'm waiting for a response from DPR about it now. coz this is some straight up shit.
