I need help with my Android..just downloaded orweb and orbot..and when I access the sr main site on orweb, the image Captcha doesn't appear.I trieduninstalling and installing again..but I still run into the a same issue.can any one here help me out?

It may have just very well been the SR site at that time.
The capcha does not appear sometimes even on the full site.
I do not use Orbot, but I have in the past and I recall it working.
Needless to say nothing is as secure as using a full blown machine with the TBB.

Agreed, unless you've rooted your phone, I wouldn't trust Orbot.

Check Enable Javascript on orweb settings.
(Yeah, I know SR doesn't use js, but this has fixed the same problem for me)
If you're worried about malicious javascript, uncheck it after you log in. The auth cookie lasts a week.

Is the "Load Images" box checked? Are you using Orweb because you dont know how to root your phone? Javascript is irrelevant for SR. You really shouldnt be using Orweb, it lacks certain features like Copy and Paste (pgp keys) that will help keep you safe.

I use Orbot with a configured firefox beta browser, but only for browsing/messaging, never purchasing. Is that safe?

What kind of phone do you have? Normally you would hook it up to a computer via usb, enable usb debugging on your phone, and a simple program will root it.
