It sais right on your SR account that it can take up to a few hours

When you first create an account, there's a welcome message. Did you bother reading it? It directs you to the wiki (which is also linked at the bottom of every SR page). There's a handy Buyer's Guide:

Which says, "Your deposit will appear in your account once the Bitcoin network confirms your transfer. This can take up to a few hours or more."

Please go read the rest of it, too, it's not that long.

Mine took a long time today. 50 minutes. But it is not instantaneous.

Depends.

While tripping heavily on shrooms? It can take up to 10000 years.
Otherwise? Seems to take me about 4 hours.

I transferred some from my personal wallet to SR (generated a new address as well) today and it took about 35 minutes. Was faster than I've ever seen it.
