The best place to go for reviews of bitcoin service providers is bitcointalk.org. Just Googling "torwallet" you'll find a bunch of threads from bitcointalk.org where people were saying they couldn't withdraw their coins from Torwallet.

Why?! Why on earth should information not pertaining to Silk Road be posted in a Sticky at the top of the Silk Road forums?!

Why should Silk Road members have to hold your hand through every little step, especially when that step is the most basic step regarding Bitcoin wallets?!

Why shouldn't you have to do your own research on sites before sending your money to them in order to safeguard yourself against the possibility of getting scammed?! Would you give $670 to a man on the street who promised to go around a corner and bring you back nice shiny new banknotes?!  ???

Why should that information get Stickied simply because you are too lazy to type "Torwallet" into the Search bar in the top right hand corner of the forum, or even the Google search bar?!

Your expectations of hand-holding and lack of basic common sense are, quite simply, outrageous.

Agreed, and besides there is a whole Security section with numerous SCAM threads going.  Just try to look at it as an expensive, but important, lesson.

Apologies for the 'attack', but seeing the same posts over and over about the same issues - which wouldn't exist if the user had done his or her due diligence - gets really old really fast. I hope you have better luck in future; always research the companies / entities you're doing business with on the internet and never risk more than you can afford to lose.

Throw me a Bitcoin address / your SR username and I'll send you a coin. It's not much and it won't take the sting out of your loss, but it's something!
