"Lastly, it's a good idea to back up your private key. If you lose it, you won't be able to decrypt messages and they will effectively be lost forever. Right click on your key in the right panel and select "Show Key Details". You'll see the dialog above. Click "Export Private Key" and save the file in a secure location."

The second step, not explained in the tutorial, is simply to copy the key to the other GPG4USB and import it the normal way.

exe files are for Windows. Tails is a Linux distribution. There's a program called Wine that can run some Windows programs on Linux, but generally in order to run exe files, you'll need Windows.

Why are you using the onion.to link? Iceweasel on Tails works with Tor, but then you're sending your connection back over clearnet to a Tor in-proxy. Remove the .to from the end.

A more detailed description of your setup would be helpful.

Are you on Tails? If so, change Tor/Privacy back to Gnome default in the proxy settings.

If you're on Windows, did you set the right port? It's 9150 when using the Tor that's bundled in TBB, but 9050 for the standalone Tor.

Also, sanity check: is some copy of Tor actually running?

Tor Browser, not Tor. Of course they both you use Tor, but Tails uses Tor Browser, a modified version of Firefox with many anonymity and security enhancements.

Their entire transaction history is traceable. It's a thing called the block chain. Bitcoins are not anonymous by default.

Ok, I thought you might have an Nvidia or AMD graphics card. It should work well with Intel.

I get it, yeah, because the screen resolution is too high. There are ways to fix it through x.org or randr, but they are complicated and you'd probably have to do it on each reboot. What kind of graphics card are you using?
