Some ass hat is sending me spam for hard dick pills every 10 minutes on SR. It is really hard to handle my orders and keep up with my customer messages when I am getting more spam than I do in my e-mail.
An option to block a user from messaging me would be a first step in combating this sort of thing. Pretty much every online marketplace in the world has an option to prevent a buyer from contacting you, the SR is lacking this basic feature.
This has been requested by others in the past and I really think this simple feature would make order and message handling more reasonable.

well.. that is good, and bad. many vendoors would just block the buyers for no reason, or to not have to receive their messages complaning about the order not showing up. block, no, but in case someone spams your inbox, we should be able to report it to the admins.

No, there is no obligation for vendors to speak to anyone, if they choose to ignore someone they can. This feature will not change that.
Since I posted the original message I have gotten 10 spam messages for viagra. All from the same person.

I've gotten 75 messages the last 15 mins, before that it was like 40 in 3 days... please do something about this.
Best regards

Again I wake up with more spam than messages from customers.

While I really appreciate that the SR staff have taken measures to prevent spamming the new captcha makes my job near impossible.
In the course of my daily work as a vendor here I have to send about 60-100 messages a day. I can't be typing in a captcha every time.
Is there no way to exclude vendors from that requirement? The bond should suffice to prevent spammers using vendor accounts.
-
yes that would be best. anyone who has a vendor account is highly unlikely to be spamming.

That is a damn good idea!

Yes it is, and they implemented it. No spam since, and even the scam messages have reduced.
