Title: Search Function, any way to customize it?
Post by: ThisUsernameIsTaken on June 13, 2013, 01:52 pm
I went to search for something a few days ago, and unfortunately the search function spit out more than I need, which takes up quite a bit of time to go through. When you're using a wifi at a coffee house or a parking lot, or the SR is slow, that's a pain in the ass!

Say I search for "Bubble".   Search for bubble produced 706 results

First column is CATEGORY. It'll have Hash, Weed, Weight Loss, Viagra, Pipes, Cocaine, the list goes on. Oh, and Erotica I see.

I'd love a way to view only 1 category, or strike/omit other categories. Something this simple could take a 4 pages of results down to 1. Is there any way to do this, or hope for an update in the future?

Yes, I had that problem too, searched 'organic' and got many many pages of results. Most of them are in the categories I wanted, cannabis and weed, but I wanted to see only domestic vendors and limit the categories. So I spent some time going through the pages, which worked, and was a lot of fun, but I got sidetracked by lots of other goodies too. :)

Good post, great idea.  How about this?  You can search a product, then narrow or arrange the listings, like search for Ketamine, domestic only, sort by: best selling.

Just my 2 cents.

Advanced Search.

Yes, this site is far past due to get the search filter! It's simple enough to code, I wonder why it was overlooked for so long.
