I jus made this SR account, however it has all my bitcoins in it and i can loggin easily to SR but when i registered i have NO memory of making a secondary password or PIN and now I cant place an order at all. I havent locked myself out yet, I still have 1 guess left but i jus was wondering if theres ANY other way than waiting seven days???? can anyone HELP

Just message SR Support and explain the situation - it is a very common one. They should be able to reset your PIN within 24 hours.

Thanks Fred, appreciate it. I hope that works. It seems like a very sommon thing on these forum. Everyone wanting PINS reset. I jus was wondering if anyone had any Ideas. Ill try that

i think you're SOL and you just have to contact SR Support and they will do a seven day reset for you. I don't think there is any other way.

Damn so theres no other way? it officially jus said my PIN was reset because of too many failed attempts. So now i have another problem. I have like 16 email addresses and I dont remember which one i used for SR i jus know my loggin and password but theres no where in settings or anywhere that tell you which email addressmyou have linked to youur account?? any suggestions? because dont they send you a reset email? well i figure it gonna be slighlty difficult to read an email address when i dont know where it was sent to...... im jus getting bent over and fucked tonight

It has happened to me. I totally forgot what I set my PIN to. I just messaged SR admin, told them I had forgotten and they reset the PIN within 24 hours, I didn't have to wait 7 days (But I made sure not to lock myself out by guessing too many times what I had set my PIN to).
You do not need an email address, just send a PM to SR Support (you can get there by clicking on Contact Us at the bottom of any SR web page)

dont worry... i locked myself out trying to make an order and was frustrated but SR messaged me saying I was locked out cause of the pin and it would be a week to reset. I just respectfully replied and explained i forgot what i set my pin as long ago and that i was trying to make an order, so asked if I had to wait a week to reset, and SR replied that day saying my pin was reset, and i entered a new one then was able to place the order immediately thankfully.
just dont give them any attitude and explain your situation, if you dont seem sketch, they wont have a problem resetting early. the week is just to deter scammers from stealing funds...

fuck it feels like an eternity... i have a feeling i spammed SR support with pleas, i was so frustrated. hopefully they dont take it the wrong way.

when you are new here, make sure to post your pgp key in the thread for posting pgp keys. then if you need a PIN reset, make sure to sign the message with that key. the 7 day waiting period is to help verify your identity. having an unedited, aged pgp key posted in the forum, and using that key to sign your message should be enough to verify your identity. just make sure to link them to your forum post in the signed message. Remember that they are busy, but if they can verify your signature, they should be able to reset it for you.
as a feature request, maybe a pgp key field in buyer only accounts would be nice.
