Title: Item Hasn't Arrived but Seller is Not a Scammer (Anarcho47)
Post by: tit4tat007 on April 13, 2012, 12:57 am
I made my first half oz order from Anaracho47, saw his Jack Frost deal and couldn't resist. Unfortunately my package hasn't arrived yet, but his communication has been excellent. Based on the amount of sales he probably deals with his response time was phenomenal. It's been over 16 days, and I'm worried sick. Obviously its clear Anarcho47 is not a scammer (a seller of this status is not going to taint his reputation for a measly half ounce). However what if he accidentally copied my address wrong?
I have this gut feeling that the unit number might not have been included (happened before when I bought from eBay, although only once out of my 500 or so transactions)

Now let's say this is the case, what would happen? Would the item eventually be opened (since the return address is probably not going to get it anywhere) and then my name and address flagged when the contents are discovered? Is there a method for sellers to check to see if there was a mistake on their part for the address (I'm sure if Anarcho47 sees lack of delivery to be due to a mistake on his part I will be fully compensated)? I have not received a letter of confiscation or anything, and parcels have been arriving (I use my real name).

So my main concern is:
* If the address was incomplete and unreturnable are they going to open the item and flag my address & name?

Also I'm pretty worried about the shipment not coming through cause I'm pretty broke LOl.

Any help is much appreciated.

Read that.
I t could take up to two weeks but that has past.
Did you PM Anatcho47?

He may take time responding but, you started correctly.
Don't worry. Unless you get a love letter. I highly doubt it.
Flat shit, hard to see ;)

Just remember"shit happens", and treat your vendor with respect.

What sucks is all the time it takes. Yes, I've been there. :'(

Best of luck.

Thanks a lot Uniwiz! Looking through your work in the forum, and I'm sure all the newbies like me really appreciate your help!

I have pm'd Anarcho and he's been great with communication. Obviously by his policy and stuff though I'm not going to get a resend for sure. It sucks that scammers have made things so difficult for the honest. I wish there was some way to check the delivery to make sure there wasn't  a mistake in the address or some way for me to prove that I never got it. Oh well I guess I will have to wait it out and hope that me and Anarcho reach a resolution that makes us both happy in case it never turns up.

Thanks again!

I went through the same thing, once you have a good history, resends get easy.
Too many new buyers are ripping off the vendors on small amounts.
Remember you can still go back ,and "adjust your rating"
I would highly advise not to threaten long term vendor like Anarcho47.
He has done so many transactions it wouldn't mean much, but make you feel good.
I'd test the address, and buy a small amount from another Canadian vendor like MROuid.
Then you will know if it's your address.
You don't want to miss out on Canadian weed.

Well I am located in Canada, so I do know how good our weed is  :P

And yea I see no point in threatening him, from what I see he obviously sent the package why the hell wouldn't he?

What do you mean "adjust my rating" like the feedback I left?

I still haven't left any cause I'm waiting to see how things go...keeping my fingers crossed for today. We agreed to wait until monday and then go from there

Yes I do, people do it to vendors all the time.
Sometimes they use to scam.
I would think both you, and the vendor are doing the correct things.
Just a little secret, my writing in that "Didn't receive package" thread was partly about your vendor.
Things took time, but worked out, he is a class A guy.
Also the mail system, and customs have been messed up, he made me wait too, which is fair.
The whole problem by now people loose patience and start flying off the handle.
Frustrating to wait. All I can say it was worth it.

Just gonna pop in here to vouch both for Anarcho and the Jack Frost.  Awesome vendor and killer product.

Is there a possibility that you didn't recognize the package?  If it's similar to his US shipments, then the packaging is rather stealthy.

Not a chance it would go unrecognized. Using my real name and checking the mail every damn day. Still nothing, and just hearing everyone tell me how good it is is starting to drive me crazy that I dont have any! I really am hoping it shows up soon :(
