Title: western union money gram question
Post by: jimcarrey222 on March 01, 2012, 07:30 pm
I apologize if this has been covered elsewhere, i may have just been unable to find it.

When dealing with Western Union or Moneygram for BTC purchase is there a dollar amount that if reached would require my ID to place the order.

Does the form require my name and if so would i best be suited to use a false name?

Thanks for your help  8)

I think  it's a regional-law thing coupled with local policy (how badly the owner/franchisor doesn't want to get fucked by government hard-ons for your money).  If you hit up W/U's website you should be able to track down the standard procedures for this stuff.  In my area it's anything over $1500.00 usually requires ID.
