Hey guys, I was planning on ordering my first order on SR but I had a couple questions. If I order an oz of bud will it be more compressed rather than ordering an eighth? I know it depends on the vendor but I mean in general will they have to compress the bud if it is more? I was planning on ordering some bud for my bro but he is really picky about presentation. He wants it to look good and be fluffy. Plus my friends probably wouldnt want to smoke that shit if its all brick weed looking even though it smokes great. What vendors are good about shipping it so it doesnt get crushed? Thanks for helping me out guys. I learned that these forums are very helpful for SR.

I don't see why an oz would be any more compressed than an 8th. Seems like if anything it would be less compressed, I dunno.
Some vaccuum a little tighter than others, and some vaccuum tighter than they do the next batch. It's a bit of a roll of the dice.
I've never seen any that looked like true brick weed though. Usually you can break the buds apart no problem. Brick weed I could hardly tell where one bud ended and another began.
If you want really pretty buds, you should probably buy on the local street where it's not vacced. I say screw that though, it's about the smoke first, price second, looks is distantly down the line.

When weed is compressed it breaks open the trichomes and the THC degrades. Smashed weed will NEVER test over 20% THC.
I place my weed in a hard container that also disguises the product as something else., then vacuum seal the whole thing.

Pressed hash stays together partly because of breaking open the trichomes, but I've never heard of it making it degrade. And I don't seeing how breaking a trichome would make it test for LESS THC, it didn't disappear. Not sure about that one.

I think they are doing the best they can with the guidelines set for them.
Guys some of what he says is true, but you guys never let the bud last that long!
I will give you this Mister Dank, you found a selling point.
Heat, light, air, and time degrade THC. Personally I miss some CBD every now, and then.
I find changing the temperature radically too much degrades the THC faster.
I get Anarcho47 JH, flat as he can make it, and I get a very nice satvia buzz.

You've never heard of it, but the trichomes in hash DO degrade, its just that hash is ALL trichomes, so degrading from 90% THC is to 85% THC still makes for strong ass smoke. As far as smashed weed goes, I live in a MMJ state, and dispensaries would never buy smashed weed because no one would buy it from them.

No, it wont be that compressed unless your vendor isn't that good.
