Any amount you can donate to the cause will be appreciated.
Also, if you live in a CLOSED PRIMARY STATE you will have to change to Republican quickly to be able to vote for him. Search google for your state rules etc.

I'm going to bump this for the americans ;)
Unfortunately it is our friends around the world that seem more interested than those inside America. $2,500,000 so far though!

Why should I donate money to Ron Paul?
-
Why should I drop a coin into the wishing well?
-
Your guess is as good as mine.

I sense a stale-mate.......
I'm not one for political process, but Ron Paul has probably done more for libertarian/minarchist (and in my case, anarcho-capitalist) growth around the world than anyone in this century has. Just to keep him up there spreading the idea is worth some money. There's a whole generation of people preparing to shuck off the state and many of those were introduced to the truth of its insane violence by that man.
I'm not even American and I donated a bit of cash through one of my friends who was donating. I think of it as buying ad time against the state and shown to a national audience. Whether or not he gets elected, the cat is climbing out of the bag. I just want it to be an angry fucking cat.

Why wouldn't you?

He's firmly against women's right to choose and believes that global warming is a hoax. In a world of over-population and rapidly degenerating natural environments, I believe these two issues are of top importance and his conservative leanings just aren't going to cut it for the future.
Fuck Ron Paul.

Fuck Ron Paul.
Once you start subjectivizing the definition of "life", you leave it up to the bureaucrats to decide who is technically "alive" and who is not, and on what basis. Are we talking 100% dependency? Are we talking underdevelopment? Any of these definitions can be translated into the world outside of a woman's uterus. Plus it's outright murder, and I think the only policy for anyone who takes the Non Aggression Principle seriously is the "eviction policy" - if you are a landlord and you want to evict a tenant, you can't just go into the living room with a shotun, blow a whole through their chest and dump them in the garbage bins out back. You have to evict them. Same goes for a baby. If we got government the fuck out of medicine and stopped creating this massive moral hazard (which is also essentially genocide, 40 million babies aborted since the 1970's later), the market would then be allocated to solving this problem WHILE recognizing the innate right to life and every human being has. Currently we are at about 2 months prior to full term that a baby can be safely "evicted" from the mother. I would be willing to bet this could be brought back much much farther, because there would be a huge market incentive to provide this type of innovation. We could easily get to a point where a woman finds out she is pregnant at 2-3 months, and 6 weeks later the child is evicted and nobody gets murdered.
As for the rape argument, that's basically saying that someone's emotions outweigh a human life. If I am absolutely traumatized because someone robbed me, tied me up, beat me, locked me in a room for three days so I could lie there and piss and shit myself, do I automatically have the right to kill their 6-year-old son? If you want to kill anyone, kill the fucking rapist, not the baby.
The only valid place for abortion is when there are medical complications that risk the life of the mother or fetus. As of last year, this makes up about 4% of abortions. 40,000 out of 1,000,000 babies killed for a legitimate reason.
Global warming is a complete hoax. It is the same as "global cooling" in the 1970's. It is broad society's reaction to elevated price signals in commodity markets that (sans fiat legal tender monopoly and the magic of fractional reserve banking/unlimited credit) normally signal serious shortages. Overpopulation is the same thing. People have been calling for overpopulation crises since the 1800's, just like they have been publishing that we are going to run out of oil since the late 1800's. It's just hype. The absolute butchering of the evidence that supports the global warming theory should be enough to raise some massive red flags (not to mention that the other two major "warm periods" on human history actually ended up being massive eras of expansive prosperity).
I wouldn't think Ron Paul is a "convservative" in the modern sense of the word. He doesn't believe in the imposition of any values by force, except those rights which are innate because we are human. And if you are going to critique him on economics, you should learn economics first, becuase the Austrian school was literally the only one on the planet who have been calling for all of the major crises we face today. The monetarists and keynesians have their heads so far up their ass, thinking that they can push buttons and run a press and everything is going to be great again.
Those are some pretty weak ideals to base anything in this life on. I'm not for the political solution, but in 100 years the institution known as the state will hopefully be regarded as the bane of human existence and prosperity, and Ron Paul has had a lot to do with exposing that.

Why are people so worried about abortions? Are we low on babies or something?

Fuck Ron Paul.
Ron Paul is against abortion from a moral standpoint, but as president he will do nothing to regulate abortions. He realizes that the federal government shouldn't have the power to tell states that they have to legalize or illegalize abortions.
Man made global warming is a theory that is not verifiable or falsifiable. The correlation of rising temperatures and increased industry does not prove that increased industry caused the rising temperatures (correlation is not causation). To make laws about a theory that can't be verified is dangerous and irresponsible.
Interestingly enough, every other planet in the solar system has also been heating up during this period.
-
I don't think it really matters anymore whether or not global warming is caused by man or not. There's plenty of evidence to say that it is occurring and to say that it's a hoax is just being blind.
-
thank god no one actually cares what mambo says anyway, i see you moved your incessant arguing from one topic to another, fucking awesome!
so how are those gummystars treating ya? ;)
-
That's one of the major things I hate about western culture today. Hegellianism has become so ingrained that people just go curl up in a corner and suck their thumb rather than have an honest discussion about something.
Ridiculous.

Trippin' BALLZ, man! You should've bought some.

If you aren't American but you still want to do your part, slay a dragon in this game and the creator will donate $5 toward the Super-Brochure campaign for Ron Paul, multiple different email addys work as well.

Hey man, no offense in blow you off or anything, it's just there's no real point in debating the global warming crisis anymore. Do a quick search anywhere, whether it be the internet, library, magazine/newspaper and you'll discover an overwhelming amount of evidence that shows a slow but steady rise in the earths overall temperature. More recently you'll even find reports of former big business nay-sayers changing their side in the matter. Compare this to the lack of information that could regard it as a 'hoax' and it's almost laughable, I mean, if it wasn't such a serious issue.
And yeah, I've heard of the 1970s global cooling claims, and I see the connection, but those claims were only a concern over about a 3-5 year period before it got ferociously debunked. Evidence for an overall trend in global warming has been developing for over 30 years now and studies proving it's existence seem to be appearing at a steadily growing rate.
Maybe this doesn't make Ron Paul the worst candidate for presidency as it seems nobody running for office seems too concerned with the issue, but for him to literally think it's a hoax kinda bursts my bubble a bit.
Honestly I don't give much of a shit for politics, but I've done quite a bit of traveling on this planet, seen a lot of strikingly beautiful places, some of which I've even been able to witness their slow but sure demise by what appears to be a global temperature increase. Because of this I'd love to see someone in a position of power that has the same concern as I do, that's all.
-
I'm not ruling out that earth's temperature is rising, it's just correlation is not causation. Assuming that something that makes up a miniscule percentage of earth's atmosphere is the root cause of global warming is its fallacy. The sun itself has far more effect on earth's temperature and its heat radiates in long waves, just like temperature fluctuates in a bonfire.
Regarding a solution to this problem - real solutions that work and don't have catastrophic consequences are never come by through the political, top-down method. Just look at what all of the solar-power subsidization has done around the world. Governments in north america team up with governments in third world countries, subsidize the entire industry and give it carte blanche to provide what is "necessary" to "save the world" from carbon dioxide.
What you don't hear by cheerleaders is that there are tens of thousands + acres of Chinese farmland that are going to be unusable for the next 25 years or so due to the huge pollution from mining the rare metals necessary to make solar power items and wind-turbines and batteries. That would have been a shitload of C02 getting pulled by agricultural development (much of it the old fashioned agrarian type that has no carbon dioxide outputs and is absolutely back-breaking). There is a trail of broken families left behind these endeavors whose livelihood has been completely ruined and they have no recourse.
I like Ron Paul for his message, not for the political solutions. If he can inspire voluntary action in people and strip away the state's impediments and discouragements from it, the world will be twice the place it is today in a couple of decades. People all over the globe love Ron Paul - he is really inspiring a revolution that could reshape the culture of the planet. As he always says, "nothing can stop an idea whose time has come".

In other news, America passes a bill that echoes Nazi Germany. Declaring the USA a "battle field", allowing military to arrest, detain, ship to foreign prisons, and torture citizens indefinitely without charges and without trial, making America one of the least free countries in the world.
I think global warming can sit on the shelf for a while, agreed?

The slaying dragons is a good way to donate for anyone. Thanks for posting that link. He really does donate to the campaign as well. You can go to
wwx.dailypaul.com and check it out for yourself.
Anyway, besides global warming (and no one can say either way, but it is getting hotter) if you are looking for real change Mambo I would suggest you vote Ron Paul. If you live in a closed primary state you must register republican to be able to vote for him in the primaries.
