Title: New Buyer, Would this work?
Post by: j1782g on September 04, 2011, 02:04 pm
Hi, I'm looking at starting buying from SR, I've been looking for a while and lurking in the forums. This is my buyer plan. Could someone point out any flaws? In the UK if that helps.........

My plan is using the name of a previous tenant, I've been living at my address for 3+years and we still recieve mail for him (junk mail, bank statements, catalogues, even 2 parcels) he seems to be getting as much if not more mail than the rest of the household.

My plan is to use his name at my address to order, do you think this gives me plausible deniability.  As in i can prove he has received mail for years at this address, someone sent it to him not me kind of thing?

Obviously i won't be signing anything (but if i did would this be safer than using my own name?)  Also our post man has been the same, for the time I've been here so this name is already known to him at this address etc.. Are there any major flaws?

Thanks

Prepaid visa>Getbitcoin>instawallet>Silk road
Prepaid visa>libertyreserve>Getbitcoin>instawallet>Silk road

Will any of these methods work? Should I use home address, or what?

Sounds like you have it all worked out!

Go for gold.  :)

Would this be enough for plausible deniability?

Yeah like i said it depends on the postman, you can just put like a friend's name to your house and say it's for him, he just didn't want to send it to his own house for some reason... Putting your own name is still a safe way...

You have plausible deniability even if it is your own name on the package.  How is it provable that you actually intended to receive the package?  I also recommend holding on to the package for a couple of days before opening if you are seriously paranoid, because you could always say "I didn't order whatever this is - I was going to return to sender, that's why it isn't opened."

Always make sure you deal with sellers who have PGP and encrypt your shipping info.

i see green lights everywhere .. use the previous tenant's name .. leave the pack for few days .. then go ahead.
just make sure no one sells you off.

Yeah this I suppose, but don't be an arse and be sure to release the coins from Escrow. Don't leave a vendor waiting for payment because you're too paranoid to open the package!!
